This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight.If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.

  1. Question please Danny. Why do most golfers seem to set up just short of the ball and then push the club forward In line with the ball and then perform the swing?

  2. This is a fantastic set of training drills….. many years ago I used to play to a decent standard, but have not played for many years due to starting my business and starting a family (twins!!). I will dust my clubs off over the weekend and try these drills out, as I want to start playing again desperately!!. Thanks Danny.

  3. the upwards movement thru the ball is often compared to an upper cut in boxing. this was something that david huish introduced into the game. he demonstrated it on peter alliss's play golf. but, with regards to pushing up in the backswing: one of the key components of the backswing is that the left shoulder joint should stretch in its socket; and, to do this the shoulder joint has to be stretched down- by the downward cock of the hand, when the club is parallel to the target line.

  4. I've not played golf for 11 days due to covid. I tried these drills on the range today and then out on the course, wow what a difference. I struck my irons much cleaner and with slightly more power. Brilliant, thank you!

  5. Hi Danny, thanks for this video. Great exercises! Question about the stepping: you seem to step to the right and back on the backswing and left and forward on the downswing (instead of just stepping left and right with no forward and backward motion). Is this to stimulate a more inside out swing?

  7. Can u make a video on common reasons why people hit it off the toe and some drills? Got some impact tape and find I hit the toe on almost all my clubs when miss hit it. Thanks!

  10. Thank you sir! I had my first lesson today with a PGA coach after being self taught through various YouTube channels. It was identified I was dipping and shortening my shoulder and I was having a tough time learning how to turn properly.

Also keeping your arms straight and how to calculate how far from the ball you should stand for a perfect connection? Thank you

  12. Hi Danny, just want to say massive thanks! I played one of my best 9 holes ever, I normally shoot +15, but I leave a lot of shots behind ( hit: left, right or duffed). Yesterday, I shot +13. However I 3 putted 6 of 9 greens (I do not normally three putt that much). If I had 2 putted 9 of 9 I would of shot +7! My irons are flying straight and true and my divots are in front of the ball and shallow. That elbow facing out (and some tactical adjustments) have worked! I know I can have my first round of gold in the 80s very soon.
