The people complaining about $16 a month should take up another sport ????
What projector are you using with this setup or which one do you currently recommend?
Do you lose the special balls you need at the driving range
Does the backing screen you hit into retract up when not in use? I will be placing the back drop against a wall that has windows and would like to be able to have light/air come thru when not in use.
can i set up any green matt with this?
Hello, I tested the rapsodo mlm2 pro for the first time today, unfortunately my lengths are not correct. I used a gabwedge with which I hit about 100 meters. On average, I measured about 85 meters. I adjusted the device several times. Unfortunately, the result is always the same. What can I do??
I love my Rapsodo MLM2Pro! https://youtube.com/shorts/6x8Pv3CyhWc?si=tTNcBGnoxRLnWr8a
So on the range did you use range balls or have to use the marked callaway balls? Thanks in advance! Seems inconvenient to be on the range and have to walk out to get the 4 callaway balls after playing each virtual hole.
Purchased the MLM2Pro at the PGA show last week. Misses about 60% of the shots taken when playing on courses – not too bad when on the range (in the software). Lots of choices of courses but the software is really glitchy and requires a ton of energy from the iPad (to the point that my iPad heated up and would not charge and I had to put the iPad on an ice pack to get it to charge), even with that, it pulls so much energy that the charge rate can not keep up with the discharge rate from the software. May be a better system if they had it run through a computer (my skytrak is much more accurate and because it runs off a laptop there are no issues with charging). Additionally, if you have any issues and need customer support, you are out of luck, their customer service number directs you to email them and then hangs up. Emails go unreturned. If you buy one, be aware you will not be able to use it on an indoor system as it will not work (specifically with apple devices).
Is the side carry correct indoors?
Great video, thank you!
Connecting to a projector I'll need a usbc to hdmi cord?
I purchased one after weighing different options and other launch monitors. I didn't really like the subscription model, but this is the way the world is going, and in my final analysis the subscription is much less expensive than a few sessions at any of the golf sim places near me. Importantly, I'm able to get some swings in when I have time, since it's quick and easy to set up in my back yard. It's not absolutely flawless. In certain light conditions it misses shots – but this is rare, I haven't figured out exactly what it is, but when it's happening, it is annoying. Chipping is very temperamental in my setup. But, if I can nail my approach this will not impact play- lol. I use mainly practice mode and range mode. If it weren't for the chipping frustration I would probably use course mode more. I did have challenges with connections, but I'm outdoors and at the fringe of my wifi. Direct connection to my iphone has been virtually flawless. I've had some synching issues where I can't see session info unless I'm looking on the device I used to record it. I did see distance issues, but these were largely resolved by being a bit more diligent when setting up for a session and getting the right distances from device to mat, and mat to net. The device records your swing, and if you use a phone holder you can get both down the line and face on. It also records impact in super slo-mo. I find these videos quite useful. I use an app called Golf Fix that analyzes the swing videos and points out flaws and provides tips on how to fix them. I can say that using the launch monitor along with this app has done wonders for my golf swing. I can confidently say that it has provided more value than the amount of lessons I could get for the money spent. I didn't go from a 20+ handicap to breaking 80, but I'm on the path. Before this I was just using the hitting mat and videos of myself to try to improve. The data is not always perfect, but it is pretty good the vast majority of the time. I find reviewing the numbers and the swing video while practicing is great feedback that helps me tweak my swing, and it's satisfying when I know i've struck it well to see the validation in the data . If golf sim was my priority, I wouldn't have a super rosy review due to the chipping, but I also probably would have spent the time to troubleshoot and fix that as I did with the distance issues. The special balls are pricey, and its a subscription model so they've got you locked in a couple ways. On the flip side though they are always updating it, so it will continue to get better (until they want you to buy a new one and send an update to make it stop working- apple battery performance anyone?) . anyway hope this helps.
200$ a year is nothing i spend 150 at top golf every time i go and its for and hour or two
How's it going? You mentioned that you don't like the delay of the MLM. How would you compare the delay to the new Skytrak? Thanks.
latency is one selling point of rapsodo's products, incl. the skytrak
The subscription breaks down to like $16/month.
I mean come on. That’s Pennies to have a golf sim at home.
How are you projecting?
Mine disconnects about every 15 shots. It's so aggravating. It also glitches meaning I can't scroll through clubs because the screen is frozen. It might be too late to send it back I have to check.
i was interested in using the stack system ,are you saying that rapsodo stores it own speed data, as this product has a subscription and so does the stack, but the stack has AI to build your swing and rapsodo only stores data ( swing speed ) is this correct
Work on more hip flexion, throwing your hips, can tell your losing distance
You didn't talk about the course play at all!
There are many reports of this device constantly disconnecting and not working at all. How many hours have you put in for the review? Did this ever happen?
How accurate is it when not using the Callaway golf balls that are supplied with it?
I don't think 14 to 15 feet is equivalent to 6 meters?
