Rickie Fowler is swinging his way back towards the top of the PGA Tour.
The extroverted California native shot a 68 at the first round of the U.S. PGA Championship, two under par.
Having slipped back to No. 7 in the world, the weekend will provide him with an opportunity to take some steps back up the ladder of men's professional golf.
On the day, the 27-year-old benefited from his aggressive play hitting 14 of the 18 greens.
Fowler added his playing has improved over the year with a really good start at the Open.
