Fresh off a second-place finish at the 2022 U.S. Open, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler leads the field this week at TPC River Highlands, while 2021 winner Harris English will look to defend his title in his third start since having hip surgery in February. However, with the top three players in the FedExCup Standings also in action, the Georgian will face stiff competition. These include Rory McIlroy, who will be full of confidence after defending his title at the RBC Canadian Open and subsequently finishing an impressive T5 at the U.S. Open. Sam Burns will be looking to continue his remarkable form, which has already seen him win three times on the PGA TOUR this season at the Sanderson Farms Championship, the Valspar Championship and the Charles Schwab Challenge. Other notable names to keep an eye on include FedExCup champion Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood.

  1. He is not the first person to ever shoot a 62. PGA announcers are acting like he is the second coming of Tiger Woods because he is so outspoken about the LIV tour. He is their poster child now.

  2. Rory is a two faced sanctimonious deserter. He deserted to EURO tour for big BUCKS and now preaches about loyalty. He got no fines, bans or sanctions for deserting INSTEAD he is allowed to play both sides and cherry pick the big money events in euro. He does not get banned etc, So whats all the nonsense about LIV ?

  3. I feel like Rory is the torchbearer of the PGA . Good for him . These guys that have left for the liv tour left their self respect in America
