Love this review. Totally agree with your assessment. Would you be willing to do a similar review on the phantom 11 long putter? Thanks

@snoboyz3 says:

Great review. Sound off the face is important for me. Currently hitting a Spider Tour X. Just don't get the same level/type of audio feedback on center hits due to the plastic insert that you do in the 5.5. with a milled face.

I truly feel like this was a pretty good honest review and not a guy trying to sell Scotty Cameron putters it all boils down to how it makes you feel when you put the ball and when you’re sinking, that’s all that matters. It doesn’t seem like he tried to make a bunch of stuff up.

Keith Richards plays a Tele.

Bought one last year and I have not had to give it a time-out yet. Very Very consistent. Great Review

Mid-fang is a great style. Im playing a Ardmore 3 TP with the s-neck. I think toe-hang with some moi is the move.

Just subbed. Love the videos. I use a phantom 5.5 and am a big fan

@mandyn5783 says:

Hi David, on the weights, I see you use 10g weights. Is that the closest weight to the Newport Select? I currently have 15gs and find it hard to judge longer range putts. Thanks

@BaBaBooeyWRLD says:

Glad my 5.5 has the black sightline instead of them 3 dots, come on Scotty

Thanks for providing us with some great knowledge and insight. Pretty much sealed the deal for me to get one.

Scotty Cameron "Lets make the classiest looking putters in the game of golf!"

Also Scotty Cameron, "Lets add a bunch of milled lines that are really deep and incredibly noticeable in ALL conditions, prying golfer's eye away from the ball even though the top line is smooth"

Let’s see this against lab 😊

@Schmonesy says:

Just upgraded from an Oddessy Havoc Pro to a SC Phantom 5.5. It absolutely amazes me how much more consistent I am with the SC

@rayb12 says:

Fantastic video. What do you think to the alignment dots compared to the line?

@Dmarshmellow says:

I just got a Phantom 5.5 and love the look of it so far. I came from a Newport 2.5 and feel the 5.5 offers more forgiveness which is good. What’s the difference playing a smaller grip versus a bigger grip like a super stroke?

I especially enjoyed your breakdown of the price for every putt! Thanks for reviewing the various Scotty’s over the years!

Great review, David. I love the nuances that Scotty puts into his putters. They all have a distinct feel from other manufacturers IMO.
