  1. Absolutely brilliant what a gentle giant played stunning golf I wont forget that 63 ever on Saturday totally deserved to win the fans where brilliant so delighted for Shane Lowry what a difference a year makes he never gave up and got his just reward

  2. Just watched the home coming in Clara. Emotional it was. Shane , his granny, his uncle and voice of the GAA Michael O Mull were the star turns. His speech alone was worth the admission. Shane is first and foremost an Offaly man and he represents the best of Offaly. Modest people with very little to be modest about . The other hero of the week was Port Rush and the people up North from both sides of the fence. They showed what Northern Ireland can be when both sides pull together.

  3. Good to see an Irishman defeat an Englishman for the Irish Crown in the North of Ireland.
Now that the Englishman has left with nothing maybe Unionists should shut the fuk up and let Ireland be a united country.

  4. Well done shane..one the greatest days in irish sport..He held his nerve superbly..Couldnt happen to a nicer man..truly deserved.Shane will never have to buy a pint himself in ireland as long as he lives…
