SWING LEFT LIKE BEN HOGAN

Ben Hogan's golf swing is synonymous with consistency and power and has been imitated by many golfers over the years. One of the key moves in his swing is the way his club goes left after impact. In this video Dan explains how Hogan did this and how you can apply the move to your game.

  1. Hi Dan, I think you are one of the best if not the best golf coach I have ever seen. You have no idea how many times I have hit ?? button on YouTube for videos that either teach faulty movement(99% of the time) or explain stuff in a complicated manner (1% of the time). Subscribed. Keep it up!

  2. gO TO YOU TUBE CARL WELTY AND YOU WILL FIND THE CORRECT PATH OF THE CLUBHEAD IS A FUNDEMENTAL. SPEED OF THE CLUBHEAD. CONTACT OF THE BALL AND THE CLUBHEAD. I USE TIGER AS AN EXAMPLE. GREATEST GOLFER OF OUR TIME.

  3. hi dan .. great content as always… can you kindly do a video on the correct set up and the weight , should it be on the heels of the feet at set up or in the arches or in the toes.. ben hogan in power golf suggested the weight to be in the heels at set up.. but when i do that i at time get a bit off balance and end up moving forward near impact at times giving heel strikes with the driver…
distance from the ball and how straight or bent forwards from the hips one should be at set up and simple routine to always achieve a consistent set up.

  4. Dan, I have found that a stick in the handle is great device to feel this, you show this in a previous lesson "IMPACT, LEVERAGE AND COMPRESSION" thank you so much for clearing away all the b s that is taught

  5. all i know about ben hogan is swing under plane swing., hitdown to the ball for square clubface., start swing from hip first.,

  6. Why ? Everyone has their own natural swing to groove. If we're setting up correctly and transferring weight properly we're golden. Most people try to hit the ball too hard.
