The Dude says:

I currently use a cobra driver (amp cell) with the only adjustability being
loft (I play to a 10.5 loft). I play to a natural draw. Would this driver
be worth the investment? The prices are down right now and I can get one
for around 200$

golfninja says:

Rick you asked the question but it’s the companies policy which they are
going to keep repeating to get the customers dollar! Shortly after this vid
they brought the SLDR TP Tour out same head just different weighted shaft.
Which is what they did with the R1, I have the R1 (9.5) Black TP tour
version same head as the R1 but with a 10g heavier shaft than the
‘ordinary’ Black ow white R1 I also have an old favourite Titliest 910 D2
(9.5 Aldila RIP 60g (2.9 torque) Stiff shaft. Numbers similar TBH.

Matthew Rampersad says:

I have the R1 driver and yes I’m annoyed that they have a new driver 6
months later.

madskrillz2 says:

Just because something is new doesn’t make it better.

Sgt Pepper says:

Very informative video, sounds cheap when u move the sldr, optiforce next?

Chris Alberico says:

I have the R1 and love it, not bothered at all.

fribban says:

I really enjoy playing TaylorMade’s clubs, but I think their behavior to
the customer by spitting out all of these clubs is just awful… I tried
the SLDR for like 2 weeks ago and I was supprised that it really worked out
well and I did hit many nice draws that I usually dont do!

TBMCxSNIPES says:

i love my RBZ driver and 3 wood i tink that the sldr weigh woud eventually
fall off because of sliding to much it sounds bad already when u were
sliding i dont think it would be a good fit for me

Lloyd D says:

I agree I ain’t long purchest the R1 black driver and a month after they
released the SLDR . It’s Taylormade trying to flood the golf market with
there products and they won’t stop until every golfer has there product in
there bag this is how they got to No1 saying that I do have the SLDR and it
is a good driver but wots next week SLDR stage 2 . The SLDR fairways are
already being tested by dustin Johnson this week they look nice

tigerbalm says:

Flooding the market confuses buyers into thinking, “gee, I need to upgrade
my driver!” or “This new driver must be the best!” I’ve never liked TM
drivers enough to put one in the bag and worst sounding/feeling is Nike.
Callaway’s 440cc Xtreme is effing long and with accuracy…the best
sounding to me. I just got the X Hot 3 Deep and it has an amazing crisp
“snap” that sounds great, carrying 270+. That’s 20+ yds longer than my old
Sonartec! I took my Ping i15 out of the bag!

Ben Anderson says:

TaylorMade seems to have a new driver every week..

User 212 says:

Tired of watching your goofy swing, when will we ever get independent swing
machine testing for all this malarkey?
