I’m pretty confused with all of the clubs being released from Taylormade.
They said that they would release clubs when they felt the newer clubs
were better. This older SLDR 3 wood is going over 245 carry off the deck.
The newer R15 3 wood, Rick is only hitting like 235-240… I had been
planning on saving up for the R15, but I might just grab the SLDR.
I hit a 17 degree SLDR yesterday on a simulator. First swing was 278 yards,
next was 300 ! Then I really swung hard and hit it 330. Wasn’t sure it was
real, but maybe it is ??
bought one of these today, i usually get 250 yds total distance with a 3
wood, but this club took me up to 270 yds total distance. i guess im gonna
need a 5 wood to fill the new gap! nice review
Don’t like it when u can mess with angles on clubs got my vr pro glued to
standard angle just got the jetspeed today not hit it yet can’t wait the
sldr I can understand loft but not the draw n fade ain’t that a problem
with your swing
Great 3 wood, I put this in the bag yesterday after getting fitted for one
at the Scottish golf show by TM. Played it for the first time in a round
yesterday and the distance was shockingly good. Thanks for the review Rick.
