Nice lesson Ali!

Mike McCoy says:

Great video Ali. I make at least 2 of those mistakes. Playing tomorrow so let me see if I can fix them.

Mayfam6 says:

I have a 7 year old golfer check him out. Love the videos

Chris McMorrow says:

Fantastic lesson for the Driver. Many important insights. Thank you so much!

Charlieboy Lol says:

Cheers Ali👍

Tony Essig says:

I am the quintessential "Gorilla with a hammer" when standing on the box with my driver. 6'5 280 and as soon as it's in my hand… smash (into the woods)

Les Robinson says:

What a great video Ali,all the things you covered I have been guilty of,, I shall get back to basics after watching this vid,Cheers Les.

chris mostert says:

Great vid Ali. Thank you.

David Smith says:

1) Buying one.
2) Taking it out of the bag
3) Thinking you can hit it well
4 ) Hitting it
5) Not throwing it in a pond after hitting it!

Josey Wales says:

The last few rounds I've played I left my driver in my bag and started teeing off with my 4 iron. Straight as an arrow and only about 20 or 30 yards shorter than my driver would get me.

Guitar Man says:

"The ball is already in the air." Great thought.

Glyn Edwards says:

Number 5, every time. I'm actually smashing my best scores playing with a 7 iron as my longest club. However hard I try to deliver my driver as you do I will still hit the ground before the ball so have given up for now given I'm playing my best golf by far atm

beatrocka5 says:

This vid described a lot of my errors! Struggling to hit up on the ball, and I’ve been teeing it up too low.

David Binks says:

Cracking lesson Ali, thanks, definitely going to concentrate on tip 2 which I’m sure will help me. Really look forward to your videos, they have helped me enormously.

Lars Palin says:

Great video. #4 is killing me. I can’t figure out the weight shift to the lead foot, so I’m always falling back at impact.

Dougie Reid says:

Thanks Ali this was excellent, I think you were taking about me because I make all these mistakes… but with this video I have picked up some great tips to work on and try to avoid…

Christine Goulden says:

Good one Ali, thank you. I do own up to trying to hit hard, because i don't hit if far to start with at my age now. I have also started to hook a few shots recently, despite my neutral grip. I am off of the pink tees, but my ball is positioned level with the center of my toes on the lead foot, rather than the lead heel.

Zapple 02 says:

Brilliant teaching and explanation and demonstration, I could have done with all that 50 yrs ago 👏 👏😊🏌‍♀️

Antonio Mapa says:

Mistake #6: trying to correct these mistakes during the next round on the course instead of on the range

Anthony Muttillo says:

Great video with simple advice, thanks.

David Largen says:

Thats why I like watching the LPGA players swings. They swing within themselves with control and balance throughout the bag.

Schmolinski says:

Excellent, Sir, very good explanation! I am a beginner and it seems I do a lot mistakes although my iron player is respectable. So very much appreciated your advice!

DJ M says:

Best video I’ve seen on this. Immediately stopped my slice. Fantastic – can’t wait to get out and try it out. Great work!

Fergus Fitzgerald says:

Very good nice reminder of all the good set ups !
Thanks

Stephen Scully says:

Super video Ali! I love this format of 5 mistakes. Would be great to put it into a series with future ones on irons, hybrids, woods, wedges.

Ron Carlton says:

Good info. I watched a previous video you made on tee height. Game changer with driver. I was struggling with accuracy. All of the points you discussed and ball trajectory matched the problems I was having. The last point about making the driver feel going away was the final correction. I now have confidence that I have more control. Shaved strokes due to more fairways and greens with ball in play. Currently 7.2 hip and just need to make more 1 putts. Scrambling percentage is above 90% so getting better at putting is the challenge now. Mainly reading greens properly. Thanks for the videos.

Jeff Proehl says:

Thanks. I am 5 for 5. Damn it. Tee time 8:30 tomorrow. Now. Just a small deal of Implementation. Thanks.

Alison Borchers says:

You're SO good at showing people's dodgy swings lol!
