  1. Around 2:00 in Garcia’s swing if you watch his right shoulder you can see him starting to initiate right side bend. That’s how he is able to drop hand and steepen the shaft angle — side bend lowers hands and tucks elbow into side, shaft angle steepens because of club head wanting to continue path the hands were dragging it before the side bend move. It’s just not easy to seen the side bend being initiated in the from behind view. With the side bend move you also get a drop in the head position.

  2. It is difficult to achieve those desired positions. I think it can be achieved by knowing what were the movement intentions/swing thoughts at every phase of the swing that facilitate achieving that positions.

  4. Another excellent video Craig. Presume 'breaking the wall' concept applies to woods/driver? There's a fair few moving parts (head, lateral hip movement, right knee [for rifht-handers]) – thoughts on a drill to help with initiating correct muscle sequence?

  5. Craig another enlightening "Evidence Based Material" video…
    Players should try to attain these parameters than pounding bucket after bucket of balls watching ball flight…I agree, understanding the techniques of the swing make implementing them easier than just hitting a million golf balls…You've just released more players from "Golfers Prison".
