Jonny B says:

RCD will likely never host an open. At best not for a very long time. The story I’ve heard was that the club where essentially massive dicks to the r and a ( a while back the clubhouse was members only and they declined to let a party from the r and a in was the story) and got themselves on a very small but very bad shitlist.

Marcel Williams says:

Paul Summerside says:

Links golf and coastal golf every time, for me. Never yet played in either Scotland or Ireland. Have played North Wales /Llyn Peninsula, Mid Wales, Cornwall and Devon, playing some wonderful Links and other coastal courses. And could easily list off my favourites, each for different reasons.

Have found some nice inland courses, but most of those favourites have been heathland. Where again the designer has made the best of the local topography.

Really would love to play in both Scotland and Ireland. But could be a long time before feel again that would make the most of such trips. Been a long time away from the game and of course, now I have some problems with Arthritis in my joints now, which am hoping can get properly under control in the months to come.

Tom Bowman says:

Castletown Links, the most beautiful course

a2audrey says:

I’ve, been to many of the world’s greatest courses, but Sedona golf resort is the most beautiful.
