Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.
I second @Xgold1001, and I'll take a step further. I VOLENTEER!!! Ha!
Replaced my T200 with T350 can confirm much easier to hit much more forgiving. Also went to a lighter shaft aero tech steel fiber. Love the clubs thanks for the review.
Hey Rick. You are a happy owner of a GCQuad. Why don‘t you mark the club faces for the full club face data, while testing them? So everybody would be able to see how forgiving are these irons really are…
Best wishes from Hamburg
This is on my short ( very short list ) to get fitted next January. Callaway Big Bertha B21 or Titleist T-350 irons 5,6,7, and maybe a T-200 for 8,9,PW, Gap W. about the same specs. Will have to look at the data from testing.
Rick can you show us what happens when you hit the hosel?
The Japan Only 2023 Titleist T400 is more forgiving than the 2023 T350 guys.
Just got fitted today and these were by far the best clubs for me. And trust Rick when he says they’re forgiving! I’m around a 20 handicap and I hit 6 shots consecutively with the 350 7 iron and each one carried 190-195 and ended up being close to 215 total. Can’t wait for the custom irons to get here!
Those lofts are crazy strong. The 7 ion is the loft of a 1982 Four iron.
Rick always has great reviews. But like with all of the pros on YouTube showcasing clubs, I really can’t get a true understanding of how the club performs for a high handicapper. These guys hitting 7 irons up to and over 200 yards is just discouraging. Gives me a false sense of performance. Not that I believe I can hit an iron anywhere close to that distance. Just saying it would be better to see high handicappers hitting these extra forgiveness clubs.
T350's or Vega Mizar Plus?
Maybe a little bit to strong lofted for a lot of golfers .. personally 150-160 carry for 7 iron suits me better..
The "average golfer" isn't spending $1200-1800 on a set of irons, sorry brand names like Titleist aren't giving reasonable prices to the average golfer.
