I just bought this driver. 9* 50g stiff….. I was ripping the drives…. Dare I say easier than my 425max
I'm a loud and tinny fan 😂
I just love cleveland products. I Own 3 sets of cleveland irons TA5, UHX, and launcher xl. The launcher hb turbo was loud and long I love it. It sounds like you crushed a grand slam when you square it up. This xl launcher reminds me of the ping g425 driver as far as sound of the face.
Sounds like early 2000's Callaway, especially some of their Big Bertha models, which I love to death.
Comparing it to the Launcher HB turbo? Is this any better?
Spend the extra money and get the Ping G425 Max. The absolute best driver that has come out in the last 5 years. IMO.
XL = extra loud?

Just went down to get fitted for a 5 wood…ended up walking out with Cleveland XL 3 hybrid….like my Srixon ZX 5 irons….very very under rated clubs and much cheaper than the big brands
I bought the Cleveland HB Launcher about 6 months ago after testing a few "bigger" names. Felt the best of all of them and distance is superb- also of note I'd have to say my slices are a good 10 yards less than before. Just great drivers for us mere mortals and the price makes them an absolute must to test.
I played my old Cleveland Custom 588 with the Stockshaft Myiasaki JDL 6 tour issue.
A great driver with the best sound and feel, i ever tested/played before and after🤷🏻♂️

Couple of things I just picked up the Cleveland XL driver outside on the tee box it does not sound nearly as loud as it did in your studio so no worries there …secondly this is Cleveland's first adjustable hosel … I went to a PGA Superstore in Sarasota Florida tried about seven different drivers my final two were the Cleveland XL and the Ping g425 Max I hit them identical…. the ping was $550 the Cleveland XL was $349… it was a no-brainer to pick the Cleveland if they would have been the exact same price I would have chose the Ping because my 7 wood and 3 wood are ping g425

I have found that the shaft affects my consistency and distance more the the head.
