Today we are putting the brand new Ping G440 Max up against the old Ping G430 10K Max to see if it really is any better!
The Ping G430 10K was without question one of the best performing drivers of 2024, so how much better can the new G440 Max really be?
Well myself and Tom put them up against each other in a super in depth and detailed performance test to see how the numbers really do stack up against each other and we give you our honest opinion on forgiveness!

Ya the heavy ping drivers were always a turn off for me. The 440 sounds like I’d look at a ping driver now.

I agree the 440 swing way faster. I gained 6mph over the Qi35! (Swing speed of 106)
I was looking at the 440 max the other day at 650usd. after your review I found a 430max10k demo for 350. Thanks for saving me 300 bucks…
I have the 10K and I tried a lower weight in the head and my swing speed went up and was easier to swing and close the face.
I enjoy your channel, but in my opinion the videos would be way more watchable if you cut out 80% of the hitting content. It’s just not necessary and makes the videos too long. Hit 3 or 4 on camera and do the rest off camera and report the findings/feel etc… Overall though I appreciate your content and value your insights
It would be nice to see somebody with them a review on on high handicap golfers I play about four times a year except for this year I took some lessons trying to learn my new swing. But I'm still a high handicaptor probably 15 to 20 should I still be playing golf My wife is pure go ahead I'm just no good with the irons.
I am absolutely crushing my new G440 LST. I’ve been playing for 55 years and my drives have never been this long. And straight. Very pleased.
In another great trial they tested every PING G iron made.
The G5 proved to be the most accurate of any G iron

I had my first fitting last week. Got fitted for QI irons. Also had a go at a few drivers, really liked the new Taylormade and the g440 max. Of the two I prefered the max
However I vaguely have the 430 10k in the back of my head… Just purely for forgiveness.
The fancy shop I got fit at doesn't carry last year's model in anything so I couldn't compare. They are giving me a few quid off RRP if I buy the irons and driver together. Not sure if I should try find a 10k somewhere or just buy the g440 I liked
I will be a bit grumpy if in a few months ping announces a g440 max 10k!

Can it get any better? Yes get yourself a Ping400 Max Driver the Best Ever Driver Ping Made. I've traded-in the 430 & 440 replaced by a 400 Max which easily outperformed them both.
I think the standard shaft length on the G 440 is 46 inches long not 45.75 inches long
I'd love to see a similar head-to-head with the LST models ….

Everyone knows that the 430 Max leaks right or is right biased, boy should move to the 440,takes right out of the equation and dispersion looked so much better…
