I hit 710 AP2s for years and loved them. I’m around 12 handicap. They aren’t too difficult to hit and feel very soft. I just upgraded to Taylormade P790s though and am in love.

Johnny Haire says:

Probably should mention Jordan spieth won with these

George Stricklin says:

HLP GOLF says:

Do you think switching from my CBs (I’m a 3 handicap) to the Ap2s will help ? I’m looking for something to help me on more forgiveness. my 7 iron is my 165 (carry club) I love my forged feel but my CBs are pretty old and I’m looking for something newer

Polaris Outdoors says:

I've only been playing for 6 months and I'm hitting my AP2s 7 iron 190 yards already

tat 22020 says:

Mp-25 or ap2's

Ernesto Lupercio says:

So basically sacrifice some distance for feel mhm interesting

Ernesto Lupercio says:

These or mizuno mp 15 🤔 can’t decide

Reef Guy says:

The Titleist CB kind of reminds me of the old 990's.

Jay Hutchins says:

I love that you have Rob test clubs as it translates much better for us mid-handicappers.  Keep it up!

Caelan Douglas says:

Why doesn't RIck do these videos anymore I always enjoyed these at least for the comedic chatter

VWRabbit2008 says:

No way. Go look at the cobra king pro irons and then tell me what's small

VWRabbit2008 says:

So according to the data, ap2 would fit rob

Colum O'Brien says:

6 iron 145 yards??? that's horrible

Douchy69 says:

The CBs feel noticeably better than the AP2s.

Jamie Hunter says:

Hi Rick/fellow youtubers, so! Today I went to my local driving range and hit my own clubs (ping eye 2, yes the ones from the 80's), I hit some dreadful shots. Frustrated and disheartened, I went into the pro shop and took the advice of a friend of mine and picked up some different Irons. I tried the Titleist AP2, I hit a full basket of balls absolutely brilliant. Every shot was straight and carried distances I can't hit with the best shots from my own clubs. My question lies with I feel that these clubs are above my skill level as I have a high handicap of 25. All forums I have read are saying a handicap of 15 or less is needed for these clubs? Was my experience beginners luck or is it possible that these clubs simply suit my swing? Any advice more than welcome

Michael says:

I hope they don't ditch the CB before I can grab a set! They appear very reminiscent of the twenty year old 962/B set in my bag.

Michael Ackerman says:

I hit the AP2 today. What a great feeling club. I hit the 7 iron further than I thought I would.

Alan Martins says:

Geez, just make it two degrees stronger, it is a forged club and you have your length.
