ABOUT ME:

I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.

Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.

I started the Youtube channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.

In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on Youtube which i am extremly proud of.

I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

CL Cricket Shorts says:

Taylormade R5 dual is underrated

Jeremy Brooks says:

1996 king Cobra 8 degree, with my swing I drive 375 yard greens , try one for us

Leigh S. Kamekona says:

MacGregor Eye-O-Matic (persimmon), Cleveland Classic (persimmon), TM Burner (dimples), TM Burner (bubble), Callaway Hawkeye ProSeries, Titleist 975D and 975J, TM R7 Tp SuperQuad, Titleist 907 D1, Royal Collection CV-Pro and TM Gloire GL550 are the drivers I’ve used in the past.

Ed Robinson says:

Wilson killer whale

Terry McCusker says:

I just watched this video…as of this comment it is 9/2022…I have played quite a few drivers over the years & I have always come back to my TMR7 SuperQuad with a Mamiya Proforce V2 shaft regular flex… it’s not the arrow it’s the Indian…cheers mate!!!

Tony Christie says:

Man I am inspired to play my Ping 15

Rob Cisco says:

First was a Macgregor Tourney persimmon . That was sooo long ago.I was able to roll one on this short par 4 320 yard hole in my middle teens with it. First metal was a Taylor Made Pittsburgh Persimmon, a very iconic club back in the day. That club came with a Sandvick titanium shaft . Currently I’m sporting a TM M2 or a Ping 425 max…. Neither one can reach that par 4 I mentioned earlier unless there’s a massive wind storm in my favor. There is way more forgiveness on drivers today than from the 80s. To me the distance comes from the ball more than anything. If you ever played balata balls you’ll understand this

Jimmy Woods says:

The first driver I ever had was a Great Big Bertha, but I played the 975D in high school. The Ping TiSI also came out when I was in high school, and it was revolutionary due to its size. I believe Ping was the first mainstream manufacturer to produce a driver over 300 cc. Compared to today’s drivers, it’s tiny…but it felt like you were swinging a shoe box back then!

Crixus The Gaul says:

I still hit a nike ignite.

Tom Horne says:

Callaway Hawk Eye VFT

รอสส์ ค็อกซ์ says:

Valent Thor says:

The r580 by far the best by Taylormade

Tony Penna persimmons

firesaab31 says:

Just going through old golf mates videos and come across this one. For me stand out driver of 2000 to 2010 was Ben Hogan Big Ben C3 so much so it’s still my driver 😂 Seriously can’t find anything to replace it.

Joey Roten says:

I still use the callaway biggest big Bertha 7 degree and I love it, and I also use a orlimar trimetal 9 degree.

Justin says:

Ping Rapture V2

Alan says:

My buddy's dad hit a 396 yard controlled draw with that ping ist it was funny because I actually had a 975 j in the bag and he was like "you don't even have the oldest driver here" I was like of course I do and then he pulled that out I was like wow.

Shane Washam says:

Yonex ADX Tour

Gwyn Griffiths says:

Can u try a present day, taylormade max2 please. Thinking of purchasing one, would like to know your comments

ccasares says:

Ping G20 best driver ever… it still performs better than the new G425 or G410

Old A$$ Kids says:

Started out with a Great Big Bertha in the late 90s, moved to Steelhead in early 00s, then Nike Sasquatch, and landed on the Titleist 975D that I am using today. Just pruchased a Ping Rapture and am waiting for it arrive.
