If you struggle to hit driver straight or happen to be the shortest hitter in your group it's because you have a driver technique that is too complicated.

Learning to hit driver longer and straighter can be super simple if you follow this 3 step speed booster program Danny Maude shares in this golf video. There are only two things that cause a golf ball to curve.

1. The club face is aiming in the opposite direction to the path at impact
2. You strike the ball off the heel or the toe of the golf club

In this golf video Danny Maude reveals how with just a couple of simple changes to your set up and golf swing you will immediately see how to hit driver straight

So if you are looking at improving your confidence with your driver swing watch the latest video from Danny Maude right here ???? https://youtu.be/qrHxEcS2c3E

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Danny you absolute beauty of a man, I finally got a feel for closing the head and releasing into the ball. Fixed my slice and added distance. God bless your talented soul.

@russpugh9570 says:

I'm a 65 year old man ,been playing golf for a few years now and i can honestly say this instructional video has really changed my swing using driver. I was a constant and frustrated slicer but i never was able to change my swing until this brilliant video. Now after just one range session i kid you not, my slice has gone and I'm hitting the ball 50 yards longer than i have for years. I cannot thank Danny enough for his explanation of how it should feel to hit round on the ball as opposed to coming over the top. Thank you for transforming my driver of the tee.

@Berliner-py4kz says:

I like the "d, d, d…" like a machine????

@BainKail18 says:

this was super helpful! 😀

@astor0671 says:

Play off 12 but been slicing drive forever. Watched this last night and it matched totally with something I had been trying which was to try and strike the rubber tee peg on mat with eyes closed only focusing on balance. Today had 20 min practice and then went round in 4 under my handicap. Skyed 2 and all the rest straight into a howling wind, likewise with irons. I found this was magic!

@ssp_2015 says:

did you just call me a hooker?

@4purs says:

I think I’m slicing the ball because my hands are ahead of the club at impact, like I’m hitting an iron. Do you have any advice to fix that?

@kenpike7814 says:

Fairly new back to the game after 25 years out. I feel like im doing most of the stiff in the video and have filmed myself and it looks about right…but still a bit of inconsistency? How big a percentage of ut is just getting reps and muscle memory in?

@dgoyena216 says:

Part of my slice is definitely the cocked wrist. Been a habit since i was younger and 10 years later getting back into it. Its still here. This should help

@pellerinmt6 says:

Kinda like topspin ????????

@rattymagic1003 says:

This is awesome. Subscribed.

@noneofmybusiness9895 says:

Went to the range with this drill today. The changed stance of pushing and tilting my hips to allow for the in to out path was a game changer. Starting in that position along with a strong grip and the feeling of throwing my hands out and to the right, i was hitting far better. Definitely need more range sessions for consistency, but the biggest change i noted was easy diatance and contacting the middle of the club face. I felt like i wasnt swinging hard and my drives were carrying probably 40-50 yards longer than usual with the glancing blow of a slicing shot path.

Thanks Danny – great drill.

@lisavanalstine6179 says:

Scratch ur right knee, for a right handed player ????

@timothycoles42 says:

Great tip Danny, Im a big slicer so will try this technique on the range next time.

@emiliopelaez607 says:

Great video! Going to the range and trying this tomorrow!

@idkloco9549 says:

I’m eager to put this lesson into practice next week. I have been so frustrated with my driver over the last month or so that I’ve been second guessing myself on my short game as a result of missed shot at the t box. You have really simplified the solution for me. Thank you!!

@karranoconnor5124 says:

Many thanks Danny, worked for me, im driving straight & added 20! But still slicing my 3 wood as its a different movement? Can you demonstrate a 3 wood please?

@advocate_jaidka says:

Unbelievably helpful.
Thanx

@markbolton4142 says:

VERY GOOD VIDEO

@coop4325 says:

The talent it takes to have bad swings/shots on purpose.. Incredible. Great stuff Danny. Thank you for the vids

@donaldrichardson9545 says:

Playing the Open this year?

@andrewstraughan3050 says:

As a cross hand golfer how much of this information would still apply to my swing? I dont have a massive slice but my path is way outside in

@NoCapPinnochio says:

Mandatory video for anyone that slices the ball. I used to slice it, then I got my club face squared and started hitting it straight left. Now I have the confidence needed to try to swing more out to the right and not worry about it slicing even further right. You nailed everything here. Fix your club face first, then worry about path. Don't overlook grip for club face control. I thought I had a "strong" grip but I was actually gripping it weak! I wondered why I couldn't close the club face.

@martinmcloughlin3090 says:

Great explanation!! Can't wait to try it.

@nr7432 says:

nonkletwarpp

@agawamguy says:

Somehow between last fall and this spring my capability to hit the fairways off the tee box was lost. Starting every hole from the woods was really affecting my overall score. I watched this lesson 4 times yesterday and without going to the range to try it out I just played in my league last night and bingo! I landed the ball on the fairway 8 out of 9 times and shot a 43. Face at 11:00, accentuate the hip movement and the tilt and I'm back. Thank you!

@porktacos1 says:

This video is too advanced for me. I need the video on how to stop whiffing the ball and hitting air.
