I ordered the heavier OZ1i and find it too heavy. I contacted LAB over 21 days ago – and still not even at the point where they have provided the info for me to send it into them… It's a really well made putter – BUT – for the money you're paying, their customer service is absolutely terrible! It's ok to want to be the sole provide of things like weight changes – but if you can't facilitate your customers, then it's far from good… wish I've gone with one of the many fantastic alternatives…
James, if I am using an armlock putter property, does it matter that it is lie angle balanced?
I wanted to hate so much on lab but when I compared it side by side with an oddesy ai one 7, my usual gamer, it helped a ton more on my consistency sending it down the target line. I shaved almost 3 strokes a round as a low-mid handicapper.
I've been watching quite a lot of the Bryan Bros content and they both use the DF3. They seem to putt well but is it down to the putter or their talent? I think if you are a good putter you can putt well with anything!
Gaming Lab 2.1 after using so many reiteration of Scotty over the years. The Lab really hold its line and really inspire so much confidence that makes you think you gonna hole every putt even the long ones caused the misses are not far off.
Ozz 1 combined with a putting board. you will thank me later.
I’m a lefty and can’t find a lab to try out not gonna pay 5-6 hundred dollars on a putter and not try it out
Tou stole Chris’s putter.
Complete waste of money
Tommy Armour Impact no.3 will never leave my bag. I'm averaging 30 putts a round… it's the one part of my game I'm not struggling on
I bought a “hefty” broomstick center shafted putter. I really like the head being heavy as it gives me more feel. First hole with it I made a 25 foot birdie putt. Some say broomsticks are hard to use on long putts but I haven’t found that to be the case. I wish I could read greens better. 😏
I switched from an Odyssey Exo Marxman to a LAB DF3 with a 45" broomstick handle. It took me all of two holes to get used to the pace/distance control of the LAB, and I couldn't be happier. Almost regardless of where I hit it on the face, the LAB's line is true to my aim. Complete convert right here.
I’ve had my mezz for two years now and love it! I know it won’t be my last putter, but when I decide to replace it someday, I’ll be looking at doing it with another LAB putter first.
Most of your videos I’ve seen recently you don’t use the L.A.B it’s not even in the bag?
I was fitted for a L.A.B the other day at Scottsdale golf (fantastic facility and staff by the way) and i ended up with the Link.1!! It’s a perfect world of blade look/feel and zero torque technology.
Might be worth you checking it out, James.
How many videos can you make on L.A.B Putters 🤣
It’s the best putter for terrible putters. It’s the worst putter for good putters.
I just replaced my Ping Pal4 putter (a wedding gift from my wife 38 years ago) with a LAB OZ.1i putter. I can already tell a difference. Most of the putts I now miss seem to be a result of a slight misread of the line rather than a poor stroke. I am glad I made a change. If I can improve my putting two strokes a round it will be well worth the investment.
I brought the Odyssey square to square jailbird putter and it has been a game changer for me.
For the 50+ years I've been playing golf my only putter was a PGF Optima Mk1 until around 6 weeks ago when I took delivery of my new LAB DF3. I'm still getting used to the LAB, but I can already notivce that I'm rolling the ball better and getting the pace better. Stillmiss a lot of makeable putts BUT making more of those than I did with the old putter.
LAB DF 2.1 for 2 years now , unfortunately DF 3 has caught my eye.
Hundred percent df3 lab rat! Putting is so much easier! Gained 2.3 strokes putting in 4 rounds that I’ve had it!
I would love to try a LAB putter
Don’t you always putt better with the Hercules?
What I’ve noticed is the best putters on tour use a blade style putter and the people that struggle have switched to a Lab or mallet
