Hi James, is the technique you are using shoulder rocking, hands or a combination of both? Cheers.

Go and see Dan Grieve, he’s a wizard at teaching short game.

Honeymoon , the problem isnt your grip or your swing , especially if you can chip around the practice green the problem is trust . See the distance , absorb the target , focus and trust , let no other thoughts in focus and trust .

@niall4539 says:

TBH I’ve started left-below-right on my Putter grip (which seems to stop me dragging the putter), so I will defo give this a go!! ⛳️⛳️

@richardroyal9632 says:

Hi James how do you grip is basically a left handers grip etc

@johnhue8933 says:

James, When chipping and pitching left hand low what is the distance of shot where you switch to your normal grip?

@bunglebear85 says:

Some things just look right, James! You look very comfortable over the ball with left below right, I see shorter putts in your future 🔮

@therealbonj says:

what’s the longest shot you would do like that – when does a chip become a pitch? what are its limitations?

@paulwhite6367 says:

I would also venture to say it works because it takes most/all of your right hand out of it

@SackBag666 says:

The main thing I think it does is levels the shoulders. For long hitters they tend to get steep with shoulders and it's hard to keep weight forward and therefore low point forward.

@SackBag666 says:

Fitzpatrick does it. If it's better why not. Pete Cowan recommends as a drill.

@Dananggolfpro says:

Welcome to the club. I too was much like you when I was playing a lot. Not the ball well but was leaving so many shots out there it was crazy.

I had a chat yrs ago to PGA player Peter Senior who was a multiple winner about his train for going cackhanded.

He just said "under pressure I can trust it that's why I use it"

You'll be amazed at your confidence levels. His limit was around 30-40yds

👍✅️

@endodonticgolf says:

Been there and come back from horrendous yips multiple times. Hope you stay with that good feel.

Left hand low/Claw and Saw grip were all seen as weird years ago for putting, maybe this is just the best way 🤔

@heroisakiddy says:

Ow boy his next video will be “use this chipper instead of a wedge” all jokes aside the levelling of the shoulders is the cure for everybody🙏
