I've wasted a lot of time and money of golf nets over the last couple of years. Most have been disappointing, wearing out quickly, having worrying design faults and taking ages to assemble and take down.

Golf Nets in general annoyed me until I came across The Net Return.

The Net Return are by far the best home golf nets that I've found, perfect for in the garden or in home simulators – this video is a breakdown of why I now wouldn't look at any other brand and why I don't think you should either.

If you want to check out their range or ask them any questions, I can highly recommend the Australian distributors: The Net Return Australia:

If you're not in Australia then perhaps go through their main website:

If you have any questions about this video or any of my others, I'd love to hear from you.

What size Net Return is this? I know it's the Home v2, is that 7×7? Do you still like this size? Finally, how close to the net do you have your mat? Thank you.

@1975Stevo says:

Im sure you posted a video on golf mats but cannot find it. Do you have any recommendations for a decent mat to use? Thanks

@dub-golf says:

Definitely want to try this net out. It is quite a but more than the Spornia in terms of cost. I do not know if I could justify it. nice video!

@storytime7982 says:

Hi great video, I’m looking at this and the Spornia SPG8. I’ve only been playing a few months trying to develop my swing and maintain consistency. I’m just worried I will shank shots into my neighbours property. Will be outside in Australian Queensland sun. Also which launch monitor do you recommend?
Thank you

Is it easy enough to move about 15 yards after each time I use it? I’d like to store it under a roof

Hey Jon, great review of the net!! Question – My ball flight is a little too high with my irons, would that be a problem? Thanks!!

@milllworks says:

Based on your review I cancelled my order for a less expensive “brand X” net and went with the NetReturn Home V2 with a 6×10’ hitting mat from Top Shelf golf in the U.S. Literally took 5-10 minutes to set up. It is so light and so easily moved. Pairing it with a Sky Track orig monitor and have it on my back yard deck facing Sangre de Christo mountains in Santa Fe. So glad I saw your review. This thing is Brilliant!!!

I ended up getting a spornia net for my garage set up but this net might’ve been the better option for the space I have

@danielmata905 says:

Also The Net Return customer service is top tier. I needed three connection pole replaced and had them in my hands in under 4 days. I was lucky and found a gently used Pro Series at a local pawn shop for $40.

@velezjavier2743 says:

How is it do with rain and sunlight? Do you keep it outside in direct sunlight or do you move it?

@JessePagano says:

the video soudded good in my right ear

@ArtursBondars says:

Nice visual effects. Good job on the video!

@ArthurDentZaphodBeeb says:

Helpful review. Convinced me to buy the pro version.

Forb nets are very good value. Via Net World Sports.

@CraigCroft1970 says:

Hi Jon. Any recommendation for a launch monitor to go with the net? Budget to mid range.

@scodino says:

Thanks for the review. After so many months, how is it standing the weather? I just got this same net and it will stay outside all the time. Is the net still holding up?

@NivkAndidora says:

$700??? Haha They can pound sand

@rollo316 says:

I had a cheap net from eBay it was great for my swing, big enough to catch any wayward shots but sadly one of the arms on the frame cracked.

What Mat do you use?
