Hey Michel! Can you help me out a bit. I was wondering how many yards Gucci shoes might add to my drives ???? Maybe I'll be able to rip it like you do! Hahaha

@glennwisse6271 says:

GCQUAD is great. But very expensive. How about mevo plus or skytrak. Both around $2000.

@glennwisse6271 says:

That setup would make me nervous. I’d suggest you try a real net. They aren’t that expensive. I’ve also seen a carpet used for a net. That works well. Good luck and don’t miss. Lol.

@samuelmccormick539 says:

Would you be better using a tarp instead of the Astra turf you could paint a target ???? and I think a little safer,but thanks for the video I’m going to try something very similar have ordered a net just the setup I’m looking at now

@ianridge says:

Hi Mike, thanks for the video. Really like the idea of the acustrike but, like you, I've got astroturf and I wouldn't be keen on pegging it into the ground as recommended as it would pierce the membrane. I notice that you didn't have it fixed and on one occasion it moved when you struck the ball. Does it still work effectively when not tied down or do you think the indoor / hard surface would be more suitable for astroturf. Love the channel by the way.

@oiiihbeta says:

Wow! If you can rock a GC Quad then don’t skimp on the net. Get a Net Return (www.thenetreturn.com). You’ll never have to worry about hitting ANYTHING through the net. They come in various sizes and have optional side barriers etc if you’re worried about misshits (the barriers have saved my walls a couple of times). I’ve got one in my living room. Great design – ball flies into the net and then gently rolls back to your feet. It looks like you’ve got kids. They can kick soccer balls into it, hit baseballs, cricket balls, etc. I’m in no way affiliated with the company, but I can tell you for the golf obsessed it totally rocks!

@gimbalair says:

the no houses behind you is a confidence inspirer, i'm bricking it hitting mine with the house behind having bifold doors

@matthewcritchley1214 says:

I like your thinking, I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to try it. Another good video.????

@glennwatson3313 says:

An entire backyard made of AstroTurf, props for that. $2000.00 computer, $2000.00 worth of clubs, minimum. An $11,000 GC Quad. And a jury rigged, dangerous as hell target to hit into. Come on man!

@gerryg1151 says:

You can buy golf netting and other types here https://www.networldsports.co.uk/golf/golf-nets.html – Not found any cheaper for netting yet?

@louislefe says:

This little matt does not give the reality of a contact on the ground, we do touch grass before we hit the ground, so it is possible to slightly hit before the ball and hit it well, I insist slightly.

@deadlymantis4210 says:

Should change it for a bed sheet, curtain, quilt cover etc etc… Has that little give to kill the speed and power of the ball. Just don't pull it too tight

@claushicks8365 says:

One shank and you'll meet the neighbours …

@camptull6211 says:

Are you my next virtual setup guru? I'd like to see more of these for different scenarios; indoors, outdoors, underwater. Teach us!

@arch6464 says:

Nice, cheap budget net ideas for the regular working man. Only issue is GCquad costs 20grand

@dseveno8254 says:

This would be a lawsuit waiting to happen if I stuck this in my backyard. And probably not from just one neighbor.

@mikebarnard2689 says:

Looks a bit home brew, I'm looking at getting Archery netting which will stop … an arrow and a golf ball with ease.
Missing the golf, thank goodness for online content. Keep it going.

@scottm3433 says:

Haha…you survived the driver. Now, when’s the next video? Stay safe, Mike.

@CorruptJudgeScarratt says:

Mike great idea. Good on you

@mowglines85 says:

Love your content. But this is completely irresponsible even though I like your imagination. Just think about the average golfer doing this and damaging property of others or even worse. Buy proper equipment or stay put is what you should be promoting as a golf professional. Regardless of this subpar content I am looking forward to seeing more relevant content on your channel soon. Stay safe.

@justgolfswing1416 says:

That’s dangerous with kids, neighbours and how its going through!!

@Pukarama989 says:

Someone get him a net

@ksuno1stunner says:

I use a decent quality bedsheet and it is indestructible, must've hit at least 20k shots into it with no sign of wear.

@p1miguel999 says:

Enjoyed the new format. Any chance of reviewing the new Ben Hogan ICON irons????????

@rufussthoo4083 says:

Absolutely love the outdoor computer Mike. You may missed it, but the same year the Pittsburgh Persimmon driver won its first tournament a thing called a laptop was invented. A laptop is essentially a small, portable computer – very handy apparently for outdoor applications 🙂 Who'd have thought it, eh? LOL

Stay safe, keep well.

@Somefatdude says:

Move closer to the net. You’re too far away. You don’t need that much space to swing even a driver. Should help with confidence hitting a ball in your backyard. Also, hang up some more padding behind the net too.

@stlc3415 says:

You can make a proper hitting bay in the back yard. Buy a quality golf net and your set. I have a garage setup that myself and my son hit into???? I can't afford the GC Quad but you can definitely afford a net????

@mpc77769 says:

Wait a minute… you haven't tested it with Driver yet???
I'm VERY interested now! Lol.
Only 0:42 in. Will continue watching now.

Trying to save my YouTube viewing until evening time, when I'd imagine WE ALL get a little fidgety.

Thanks again for the uploads Mike ????

Edited after watching: OMG!!!
BE CAREFUL MIKE!

Mike " Evel Knievel" Newton. I'm glad we got to see this footage.

That BIG PIECE OF WOOD could be "Hzrdus"!!!

@stevebones2535 says:

Great work on the range! Appreciate it
