Yes, the lofts are strong so a 7 iron could be seen as a 6 iron. But the G430 7 iron goes more than 5m higher than my old Titleist 714, so does that make it an 8 iron? Difficult to compare club to club because of so many differences.

@aesorrells says:

How do these stack up to the sim2? Deciding between the two

@berniedmj1 says:

Today I got fitted & I tried every major current brand available in shop (cobra, titleist, Taylor made, callaway, & mizuno). With a little tweak here & there of the shaft & angle of the head, I hit these g430 solidly & consistently. My balls landed within 10 yards from each other (according to the simulator) at 173 yards carry with a total distance 189 yards.
Now I’m very curious how I (or it) will perform on a course!

I forget what video I watched, but this guy was getting fitted too. Let’s just say he was hitting everywhere despite trying all kinds of major brand.
Long story short, he went for the ones that looked flashy & sounded good instead of going for the one he was doing well on.
The comments were funny because they were saying, “he needs to take a lesson than buying a new fitted set.”

@Theyorkshirepirlo says:

I got fitted for a set of g430’s about a 9 months ago. In that time I’ve gone from a 30 handicap to an 18 and I’ve no doubt that the clubs have had a hugely positive impact on my game. I now hit my 5 iron further than I did my driver before too.

@805weatherman says:

I recently got the 410s and they are very similar. Firm and clicky sounding…but exactly as you say they are easy to launch, the lofts are strong. I'm getting great height so the slightly reduced spin hasn't been a problem. I have also hit these and I find them very similar.

@KevRobM says:

Titliest T350’s are a lot clicker than the G430’s. Like Pings better. Put TT Elevate VSS shafts in them and it softens that slightly harder feel of the iron. They feel very good with that shaft in them.

@Booksbyphilmitchell-001 says:

Would you say they are the G710 but just not dressed in black?

@nemesis_ftw says:

Was just fitted for the G430 Power Spec clubs. It was between these and the Mizuno JPX Hot Metals. While I did like the feel of the Mizuno's, my shot consistency was tighter with the Ping clubs.

@Hhbdr says:

I love my new G430 set!

@Hhbdr says:

I just got my new 430 irons. I think their beautiful. And they hit great. Especially when they're swung correctly.

@stewartabramson5340 says:

I was custom fitted by a really good fitter. I've had the G-430 irons and hybrid now for 3 months and love them. Best irons I've ever had. I'm sure much of it is the shafts and the lie angle ( orange dot), but I'm playing the best golf I've ever played with them. Misses don't lose much in distance or direction.

@mikewy192 says:

Ping are the 911 of golf clubs it appears – just good.

@888Longball says:

Apparently game improvement is anyone with an 8 handicap or higher. Does Ping have a bias toward better players? 8 to 30 handicap? Really?

@timarmington8142 says:

Great iron if u can carry 5 wedges! Pw, 45, 50, 56 and 60! Thats a few wedges

@prairiehills416 says:

I've heard from people in the golf repair business thst the Head with the complex cavaty piece comes loose. Requiring repairs under warranty by Ping. 🤔

@prairiehills416 says:

In 2018 I upgraded from G30's, and loved the G400's. Then got tempted with later models: G410 & G415. I've gone full cycle, and am back to my G410's. It's all about feel, and confidence in my opinion.

@russellmclatchey4162 says:

Why do English people have such a strange accent?🙂

@castortroy103 says:

dude…I just bought these clubs…they are in transit. You are hurting my feelings with the review. 😔

@jeffreylondongolf3448 says:

Yes the lofts are higher and so are the descent angles – so no it’s not just a six iron

@raynelson6163 says:

I’m a high handicap golfer that needs as much help as possible. I recently got a set of Ping G430 irons with graphite shafts and they are amazing! They are super forgiving and I am hitting all of the distances I want and need to hit. I traded in a set of Mizuno JPX 923 hot metals for these. The mizunos were so disappointing to me. I really struggled with everything with those clubs. If you want an awesome set of irons, Ping G430 are the right clubs.

@MegaAshabasha says:

This guy doesn't realize he's talking about golf, does he? What a silly waste of time this video would be…

@mrhappytime4191 says:

G15 irons best ping ever. Forgiving and consistent distance. Just new 5 iron is my 6 or 7

@trmander says:

I went from a players iron to the G430s for this season. I have only played 4 times so far but already my scores have been way more consistent and my GIR number has gone way up. They might not be "fun" enough to shape different shots but for me, being on the green with a birdie chance is my definition of fun.

@Traplordsosa says:

The thing I cannot get over with this set is the botched lofts. P wedge is 41….. Then there is a 45….. so what? pitching wedge 1 and pitching wedge 2? Not to mention you buy a 7 club set…. that is labeled 5-45….. and you still need to buy a gap wedge. So really… this set is just selling you a 4-P with messed up markings. it's a weird one to get your head around. the g425's last year did not have this issue the pitch was a pitch with pitch loft…. an the U was 50 degrees.

@PNW_Sportbike_Life says:

I've seen much less hater-ish reviews of these clubs; the tech seems to be there at traditional lofts. These are likely what I'll be going with; no ego here.

@Go-Fight-Win-Kick-Ass says:

your probably too busy to answer this but I am curious which ones did you like better, these or the Srixon ZX4?

@GentlemanJamesWin says:

The labelling is ridiculous, all clubs should be labeled with their loft angle.
