  1. Thanks for the video, I learned few things (lie and ball position) that will surely help me with my hybrids. I got 2 hybrids: Karsten 4 (22 deg) and Karsten 3 (19 deg). I am kinda ok with my 4, mostly on fairways, hitting up to 192y but lots of mishit and 154y average. Still better than my iron 5 though. I can only hit my 3 on fairway and success rate is very low. Max is 209y but average is 158y. Even on tees I don't often hit them very well. I am pretty sure my score would be better if I would just left them on my bag and use my irons instead… I will work on that this winter.

  2. I started playing at age 13 31 years ago. I played through highschool then stopped 22 years later I got back into it. Have enjoyed playing these last 2 1/2 years just got a 5 hybrid stealth 2 rescue look forward to trying it at the course

  3. Playing the clubs natural shape is such good advice I’m playing Callaway max 4hybrid 5 wood and driver and being draw biased I know where it’s going assuming I make a decent swing. The will all work a few yards left of my start line.

  4. Great video Mark, thank you. I learnt a lot about hybrids after watching a few of your videos. Looking forward to playing with them in my next round. ????????????????????????????????????????????????

  5. I’ve been struggling with my hybrid, I’ve only been playing for 2 1/2 years , had lesson ( and watched many YouTube videos) but this video makes absolutely brilliant I get it makes sense and it absolutely worked . Thank you thank you thank you . New very happy subscriber thanks ????????️‍♂️⛳️

  6. MATE!! What a great video! I'd never thought to try this before, but now I've been practising hybrid chips shots around the greens. AMAZING!! ???????? Thanks you! Saving strokes immediately!!

  7. I have 9 18 and 22 degree hybrid. Does the ball position differ between the two?

It was interesting to hear that even 2 closely related clubs could have different shot shapes. As a comparison, I find that with my 3 wood I fade the ball, but I never consider that my driver is fitted and Set up to draw –

l -will hit a.good shot but always I -assumed that I was somehow swinging differently.

    different

  8. Thanks Mark for all your content!!! Been playing with four hybrids (22, 25, 28, 33) and 9-SW in XL Halo's. Although I play off 8 and hit normal irons ok, I've always preferred the feel/turf interaction with these types of clubs much better!!!

  9. I’m surprised no talk of the difference in length of shaft. My rescue is 3 inches longer than my 4 iron.
Gripping down on the hybrid is the only way I can hit it.
