Guys whats an albatross in golf?

I’ve never had a hole in one but I have had an albatross. 588 yard par 5. Perfect drive that slopes downhill. All you can see on your second shot is the top of the flag so it’s basically a blind shot. Hit the best 3 wood I’ve ever hit in my life! Got up to the hole and looked everywhere for my ball. My partner and I had given up looking for it and he said what if it’s in the hole. I said there is no way! Sure enough walked to the hole and there it was! It was wild and to have someone there to verify it was even better!
