All the manufacturers say that you need 9 or 10′ ceilings to be able to play golf indoors but that didn't stop me. Here is how you can still have a golf simulator with regular 8′ ceilings. I discuss my whole thought process from beginning to end and show you how my whole YouTube channel about golf sims takes place in a regular garage.

Hi! What are the dimentions of your hole? I can do a maximum of 24"x24", think its enough if placed right?

@JerzyBoy973 says:

1:47… 74” club means you’re a giant. There’s no way you have a 8’ ceiling ????

@dub-golf says:

That's a tight squeeze. Nice video!

@handlethecraft says:

my basement ceiling is actually 8.7 ft and I am about the same size then you. I need to test it out. The pro is that the basement has an unfinished ceiling what gives me about another 1ft in-between the studs

@Jindsing says:

Having an 8ft ceiling helps me not to stand up or extend during my swing. I'm able to stay hunched and compressed and has helped my swing along. That fear of scraping the roof is a good motivator!

@ericzikmanis6116 says:

Not me, im 6'7". I hit the 10 foot ceiling with a driver at a PXG fitting

@k.ratty.scratch8177 says:

Did you cut the ceiling board out with a spoon

@brianlhenaff383 says:

Irons must never come close to the ceiling then.

@eliasmichalopoulos1595 says:

What launch monitor are you using ?

@JL-im3go says:

47" long not 74" long ???? (you read the tape upside down)

@Lefishn says:

Your back hand grip is way way too far open (Strong)

@DarkDMD says:

I built one and used acoustic 4' x 2' x 1" tiles. At 6'3" I hit the 8' ceiling from time to time (technically its lower b/c of the pad, but the reality is, they are cheap and replacing them is easy.

@Serperix says:

My basement is 8.5 feet and I'm 5'9" so I think I'll be good

@bklounge_golf says:

Where were you at with the About Golf simulator?

@Latebloomergolf says:

I have basement setup with 8 foot ceilings. 6 foot 1 setup here. Sucks but it is what it is.

@lawofvisualization says:

Really good video. Thanks for taking the time to produce it.
