This video highlights the best 7-woods in golf with a 7-wood comparison using Trackman technology. High-lofted fairway woods such as 7-woods are increasing in popularity because they launch the ball much higher and are more forgiving than hybrids. 7-woods are especially effective for golfers with moderate swing speeds.

Love how he says why 7 woods are becoming so popular lol I been gaming a 7 wood for over 2 decades and it’s my go too 220 club always straight and never have to worry what it’s going too do! 🙂👍🏼⛳️

Thanks! Is a 4 hybrid harder to hit out of the rough than a 7 wood?

what shaft is the Cobra DARKSPEED Max?

My Ping 7 wood is my strongest club. Dropped my 3 iron and put the 7W in my bag years ago. Never looked back.

I have have a taylor made R5 21 degree 7 wood, purchased in 2005. On Saturday, i got paired up with 3 guys, 22-23 age range. Had a blast, and when i told them the club was almost as old as them, it blew their minds, haha. Of course, i hit it about 205 on a tough par 3 green…atleast one shot was good. I love the club and almost can't replace it. It's like an old pair of jeans that are broken in just right

I was using a 6 and 7 woods back around 1980. Wooden clubs ruled the day. Tour pros played 1 iron-SW driver 3wd. Wilson Staffs on.most bags. As a 13-14 year old, the 6-7 wood was perfect.

I bought a taylormade burner 7wood n it became my favorite club in my bag after 8-10swings on the range fairway all day n almost the same distance as my driver

I have a 24 degree loft 4iron and im trying to figure out top part of my bag. Played 3 hybrid 18 degree for a little but i was hooking it more than i like (usually a straight/faider). So i switched to a 2iron loft 18 degree and was hitting it better for sure but wasnt getting height or the stopping power, also wasnt consistent. Looking into a wood, probably a 7 wood. 7 wood loft around 21 degree would be "ideal" loft gapping. I think id be swinging a 7wood around your speed shown. My 4iron carries around 200, and my 3wood around 245. A 7 wood at 21 degree a better option or 5 wood at 18 degree a better option? any ideas? (ive tried hitting some at local store on their sim, but their sim isnt the greatest, was telling me i was bombing both woods with spin of 2000-3000 lol).

Im telling you don't waste your money on these. If you are an amateur with a handicap higher than 12 go get yourself an adams 21° strong 7 wood on the Internet for unser $100. No one has come close to how good that club feels and you can find them online in very good condition. It actually feels solid and soft unlike all the new tech which feels flat hollow snd dead off the face

Just bought a g430 7 wood. Let's see how this goes.

@jazzamac3796 says:

7 wood for me , higher ball flight , better stopping speed. I've just ordered a 9 wood to replace my 5 iron

@tdhawk7284 says:

Yes, a 7W and 4H are the same loft, BUT a 7W has a longer shaft. Therefore I’ve found the 7W to be comparable to a 3H in distance. Goes like: 5W/2H, 7W/3H, 9W/4H.

@brianswanson4921 says:

Just bought qi10 max 3 wood 5 wood tiger wood be happy hitting them has good lol … my 7 wood m2 cream that to ..❤
