The Monster Mat is the best golf mat I've tried. It's durable, feels true and it's made in America. After Garage Golf warned us our golf mat was sub-par, we wanted to find the best upgrade possible for our Mevo Plus.

Wow big mat! Nice video

Hey all – I’ve been using this mat for the last 6 months. I just upgraded to the country club elite. I have a pretty steep attack angle as an FYI. This is a good starter mat but it sheds A LOT and I have to clean my clubs off prior to every round. You do get good feel but over time the mat has worn away, most likely due to the fibers shedding away. For my usage (hitting on the sim 3-5 times a week) and my attack angle I wouldn’t buy this mat again. Great price point but worth sharing my experience.

Can you do a review on the no shedding one?

You guys need to get a Spornia net, then you'll have a great setup!

What iPhone tripod mount are you using? Thanks

Nice video! Great feedback! Just got back into golf at age 39 and in the process of fixing my swing from inconsistent iron strikes, this mat looks like the best to go with from all the cheap and expensive ones I’ve looked at, this seems priced very reasonable. Will definitely be ordering to practice with when I can’t get to the range.

Does the Garmin R10 track club path?

I was thinking of purchasing but when I applied the discount it only gave 2.5% discount not the 5% it claims. Just FYI for any of your followers that’s run into the same issue. Thanks for the review

Wondering how you are liking the monster mat after some time now (if you’re still using it). I have been using it for about 5 months now and for some reason I find it not very friendly…I’m finding it over penalizes poor strikes. For example, it grabs so much that even a slight fat shot gets terrible results. I thought maybe my swing just went to crap, but when I go to a grass range my results are much better. I finally got more confirmation when I went to get fitted for Mizuno irons the other day. I brought my gamers (T100s irons), and my fitter has a SkyTrak just like me. However, I was hitting fine on his mat, getting results more in line with what I see on the grass range and the course. Have you experienced any of that? Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

@Noone-dy7sh says:

Wait, if you can stick a tee in, throw it away? Why? You can stick a tee in Fiberbuilt mats. They’re no good?

@alainjacob3841 says:

What you have to. say about this it is true or not. "This Matt is terrible… I have one and all I ever do is put crap all over my clubs and chunks all over the mat and into my impact screen "

@colin3870 says:

How’s the monster mat holding up after a year? Still highly recommend? I’ve been playing off a diy mat and looking to upgrade. Trying to decide between fiberbuilt, monster, or something like gungho’s hitting strip/mat.

@chrisimes478 says:

Great mat … but good lord it’s an absolute green mess every time you use it with the weird build up on your clubs when striking.
I’ve had it for a couple months and it’s excellent, but I’m SICK of the mess it leaves behind that I have to vacuum up Eeeeevery Time!
Not sure I’d buy it again and if it doesn’t stop shedding green in the next few months it’s going back for a refund.

@gmoney1115 says:

I just ordered a monster mat 5×5 and the shipping weight is 32 pounds. Would anyone know the differences?

@petegalindez9961 says:

You still high on the Monster Mat? I’m looking to buy a mat for my outdoor hitting net…
