This is helpful. Tried it out today, and i felt that I hit the ball, with more power, on the good strikes. But I keep hitting it fat, or thin. Any tips?

What I'm confused about is how do you start your takeaway underneath the alignment rod, but keep the club outside of your hands, as so many instructors suggest?
