Golf Pride ZGRip Cores midsize…i cannot say enough good things about these. I have had 4 replacements and i dont plan on ever switching
I enjoy these reviews, but I think you blew it doing it without glove, it might have made a difference. ????
Love Winn Dri Tac’s especially on Driver and woods, and I’ve found using midsize or oversized really helps with controlling the club face.
I really suggest the golf, pride tour wrap, the red one for your wedges, but I would not suggest them for your irons
Winn grips are really good especially when it comes to feel, tack, and comfort. But you’ll have to regrip sooner than other brands because they seem to wear much faster. Also, forget about playing in the rain. It becomes so slick, the club almost flew out of my hand on the backswing.
Champkey from Amazon. Everything else is overrated. You can add wraps if the oversize isn't big enough. Big name grips are just that, big names with big prices.
I’ve been using the Winn Dritac wrap grip for years. I don’t like to wear a glove, so these are perfect for me. Like another viewer stated, they do wear fast.
3 of the top 5 grips have major issue with sweaty/rain i.e WET they are slick
I basically did this same experiment 5 or so years ago. I bought all the ones I wanted to try 8-10, and cycled them through my 8-LW and kept playing par 3 course until I decided on my favorite. Not the grip I thought I was going to pick, but the Lamkin UTX won for me. Plus, easy to clean and affordable too
Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord
Maybe I'm an outlier, but as a mechanic with rough hands anyway, I will never part with my Lamkin Crossline Cord. Golf Pride dries out in a couple years, Winn barely lasts one year, but I got some clubs with Lamkin wrap grips installed 15 years ago still good as new.
Did he not have the DriTac as #5, then again #1?
I have a couple fairway woods with the Winn DriTac and they feel great. I know some do not like the rubbery feel but I really like them.
I really liked Lampkin. Some grips from Winn are too soft. I tried your favorite and cut it off after 1 round ????
Switched to the Winn Dri-Tac in bronze, by far the best feeling grip, and it gives a classic looks to the clubs????????
I play a lot, use Winn Drytacs for my woods, but they rarely last more than 2-3 months.

Winn Drytac for me any day and I change them every 2-3 years without deterioration.
GP tour wrapped/corded championship lock it up. Don't get Winn grips, you'll have to regrip quite often.
I was GP Tour Velvet for years. Recently jumped ship to Lampkin Sonar+ black. Very nice grip that holds up. The GP tour velvet is a good grip but tends to become slick very quickly.
