Seriously? Stop using the hybrids for shots inside 100 yards. You have room for wedges! Play with them based on yardage…. if the sand wedge goes 11 yards, don’t use it on an 80 yard shot. Play for real. Love the vids but don’t use a club that’s not appropriate.
Do it with the Eleven Hybrid Irons…and see what happens..great clubs
Love this video. Would really like to see you go for it with a full bag including 4- W hybrids plus your traditional wedges for close to the green. I’ve always wondered if really good golfers are held back by their ego. I feel like one day someone will break with tradition and play a tour event that way.
I use 4-9 Thomas hybrids and I have some Ping i3s for my wedges. It works great for me. I am consistently 10-15 yards longer with them.
If this your first round with them maybe you shoud have had a practice round to work out distance

The faces of those lower clubs looked like they didn’t have enough abrasive surface to produce any spin.

Putting for eagle with a hybrid is the biggest flex of 2024, I'd be shitting bricks haha
I love my 4 hybrid my best club
I tried hybrids. Did not work well for me. I instead switched to woods, down to 7 wood, irons after that. I love this combo. I hit the woods much, much better than the longer irons. My golf buddy has a full set of hybrids, but has a regular sand wedge and 60 degree wedge. He does well with that combination. Everyone is different, so use what makes you score the best.
Am I imagining it or did cobra once do a full bag of hybrids?
