What simulator would you suggest for a simulator trailer
wow…no uneekor devices? And ranking the mevo and sky track that high?
I know you said and also been told by other people about the stickers but on site it says there required but there not? Does it have putting?
Thanks
Great review. I am selling my Mevo+ Limited to go with the R50. My reasons are to recapture the space required for the Mevo+, eliminate the need to bring my iPad down as the display and to speed up the calibration time/complexity each time I use it. (I do not have a permanent set up for my hitting area).
Only hits fades lol shots fired
you just need two nets for Lefty's and righty's , never move the device
Great content. Two questions for ya. 1. When you mention accuracy and testing accuracy what is your test? Do you place them up against trackman, GCQ or something? 2. You said you had some “concerns” with eye mini (lite) keeping them from the list. Can you elaborate? I was pretty much down to skytrak+ or the mini with the mini leading but now I’m waffling.
I'm looking into one, but which would be best for both sim golf during the winter, and outdoor practice, or use during rounds?
REVIEW PRO TEE VX
I have a Bushnell Launch Pro and Flightscope X3 and the driver issue on the Launch Pro is definitely real. My swing speed tops out around 120 and ball speed 180 and sometimes I get spin ratings under 100 with driver on the Launch Pro.
I would love to buy and get you credit for the Garmin. What do I need to do?
So you’re saying the best behind the ball sim that is good for left/right is the mevo+?
What do you not like about the eye mini lite for this list? Im trying to decide between it sbd r50. Will only ever use for sim setup so portability is irrelevant for me.
Is the issue with the bushnell just the algorithm it uses to calculate carry distance? Or is it measuring the data like ball speed and spin incorrectly? Basically I am wondering if the issue is with the hardware or if it’s the software algorithm causing the issues since it can’t actually measure distance.
After tons of research and watching your videos I was dead set on buying the Mevo+. However there’s a few simulators near me that have the GOLFZON simulators (with the fancy moving floor and different hitting surfaces). I love the software, the graphics, the analysis info etc. I’m not building all that for my home simulator but am interested in the GOLFZON wave to get a similar experience at home. Have you evaluated the basic GOLFZON wave? I haven’t seen a ton of reviews on it yet and I’m torn between the these 2 options.
Missing the square
Where is the Square Launch Monitor? Best Budget LM, especially after the latest firmware update.
I tried the R50 at their trial day. Honestly I did not have a good experience. The data just seems wayyyyyy off. I brought my GCQ for comparison and I found a 30y difference between on my drives. No idea if it was setup correctly or not, but until I try it again and finds that it worked properly, I will steer clear of the R50.
I assume the bushnell issue is also a gc3 issue as well? I have a gc3 and am trying to hit draws and I have a 110-120 club head speed. But I hit the ball pretty high at 90-100 peak on average. Am I in the range for those issues?
1. Eye Mini
2. Eye Mini Lite
3. Bushnell Launch Pro
4. R50 (sucks at current price tho)
5.) Mevo+
I'm surprised you did not mention the Square, but I do like that R50.
I always enjoy watching your comparison videos. I just bought a second hand Mevo+ with Pro Package installed and for me the biggest issue for the Mevo is short chipping. I still can't get it to register a single shot under 8 yards or a ball speed under 18mph. On fuller shots it's great even though it doesn't read miss shots due to gear effect accurately but I can live with that. But not reading short chip shots just kills the golf simulation experience. Even the MLM2PRO can read shots under 5 yards at its price point so how Flightscope have not been able to manage a fix for that on their much more expensive device that can apparently even read putts (I haven't had much success with that either) is just baffling.
And yes, I did try moving the ball closer to the device and make sure I am on level ground between device and ball as you suggested in your previous video. If you have any other advice about getting the Mevo+ to pick up short chips I am all ears. It's just weird how this glaring issue with the Mevo has kind of been just swept under the mat. Cheers!
Is the garmen r50 good outdoors at the range?
Feel like I've seen this one before.
