Unleash the full potential of your swing with the hidden POWER moves in both the Backswing and Follow-through.
Most golfers are completely unaware that the SPINE is changing flex throughout the entire golf swing. The movements of the spine can be thought of in a similar way to how many animals create locomotion. Some do it via lateral flexion (side bending) like the fish or the snake. Other by flexion extension (up and down) like the whale or the cheetah.
The movement of the golfer from flexion to extension, back into flexion and then into extension once more is a huge power source that the golfer can utilise in their swing to create more club head speed and add yards to their drives! This is somewhat akin to how you would move your body if you wanted to jump as high in to the air as you could (this is happening in the golf swing).
Yet many golfers are leaving distance on the table simply by not understanding how to move their body correctly to benefit from this power move. This is, in the most part, due to the movements of the body throughout the golf swing being poorly defined for years. Golfers were only ever taught to TURN, but this advice is incomplete. Once you understand how to add the EXTENSION and FLEXION at the correct times to your golf swing, you’ll be able to swing longer, faster, and with less effort than ever before!
Excellent video. I was doing ok on the backswing extension but used to move my head ahead of the ball on the downswing ????????
Great stuff Rob. I'm working hard on this stuff. Happy to see more uses for the I-Range. Just got mine and I love it. Being able to do the head against the wall drill while holding a club has already made it worth the price.
Another great tips
You are correct sir. Much more range in comfort motion. People think they’re going into a reverse pivot then abandon it because of the huge difference in feel from their regular swing.
Great video. Extension is the biggest aid to getting increased club head speed and distance
Such a great explanation Rob. Am I correct that once you’ve achieved extension on the backswing the hip slide gets you back to flexion and then leads towards extension on the forward swing?
Does this fix any other issues? Like would fixing this also promote better take away and swing path? I feel like after watching this – this could be the reason I hit a huge slice sometimes or it goes straight but only 225.
Well presented. I know you're right, I'm lacking here… I'll begin tomorrow . Thank you.
