Ever wondered how good golfers can hit driver straight and long with what seems like an effortless golf swing. Meanwhile you are giving it everything you've got and can barely advance the ball long enough to reach the green in two.

In this golf lesson Danny Maude reveals how the best players are manipulating something called spin loft to gain extra distance without having to hit the ball any harder. This is how they are able to hit driver straight and super long with what looks like an effortless golf swing while you are scratching around the woods 150 yards from the tee after giving it your all on that last tee shot.

Check out todays video https://youtu.be/Jp_gmyZWpjE and learn how to manipulate spin loft so you too can gain some effortless yards while your mates are left wondering how the hell you managed to hit the ball that far.

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If it's a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Danny: Your ‘Secret Ingredient’ lesson is fantastic. I couldn’t help but notice while watching your lesson that the two walls in the background were different colors – blue and black. This contrast created the ‘perfect vertical wall’ to stay behind throughout your swing. What a great image.

Great Lesson Danny!!

@doe53 says:

None of my buddies believe me that I can hit it 290 yards but it's true.
200 yards forward with a 90 yard slice equals 290 yards

@KennethFitzpatrick says:

Thanks Danny any time I look at your videos I'm so impressed by your simplistic approach to hitting the ball and how you make it so easy to follow. Keep up your great work.

@Sparrowhawk2000 says:

What about timing of the load release? What releases first? The hip, the club/shoulder? I find getting timing throws all of these great tips off?

@daveweedall4505 says:

Been fighting a slices for years and i think this might just be the lesson i needed. I've been trying to hard to follow through and it looks like I'm to off balance. Great lesson Danny .????????

@simmo5071 says:

Of all the things you make effortless, swing most definitely, enthusiasm for teaching absolutely. The carpet cleaning sings a song I recognize from my childhood ????.

@kimnewling5728 says:

My over swinging and lost distance makes my hair gray

@AndreiBgatov says:

I’ve always thought that with the driver you need to hit UP on the ball. Apex to be 100 ft
Is this different from the Spin Loft?

@AndreiBgatov says:

When you load your right leg on the backswing, I notice that you almost squat down on it when you start the downswing. When I tried it, I ended up hitting the matt before the ball as it was messing up my posture alignment.

@kchebz says:

Great lesson again Sir.. is this image of hitting the ball is applicable to other clubs especially irons?

@MrDavid6660 says:

When do you actually 'pull the trigger' so to speak during the down swing, and is this true for the irons as well?

@avdm196 says:

All makes sense to me. I was told not to let my hands in front of the ball, I.e. not to let the shaft slightly lean forward, have my feet parallel, not turned outwards, and have my weight on the back leg (right). Each time I forgot these, the drive was OK, each time I applied, it went wrong ways.

@billchapman5148 says:

Another great lesson! For anyone seeing Danny for the first time, he is one of the best instructors on YouTube. If I lived near him, I would be getting in-person instruction. Thank you, Danny.

@garyhobbs56 says:

Great video off to the range to give it a go

@antoniocalingo5621 says:

Thank you for sharing Danny! Have also passed and shared your video to my friends as we have a game tomorrow at Villamor Air Base Golf Club ????. You are just superb Danny!

@AlanNahoum-lc6ic says:

Arnold Palmer used to talk about driving the ball thru a pane of glass, but the pane was a bit out to the right, promoting a draw

@RichardHavard-b1b says:

Great Lesson Danny. Any input on taming a draw/hook?

@Steve-qn8gn says:

No way that shot went 290 yards with that swing, no way! Great lesson

@johngoodwin5739 says:

Hi Danny, will getting a “smash bag” help with this lesson? Thanks for the video!

@stueyleach7121 says:

Everything is do effortless with you Danny. I wish you could've seen my driving the other day! Horrendous. Need to play this the next time I'm at the range….

@ehboswell says:

This is the part of my game that I’m concentrating on at the moment — gaining consistency, accuracy, and distance to driver. In fact, I am about to leave for the range to practice this morning—your video is the perfect coaching I needed before my practice session. Many thanks! By the way, the progress I’ve made as a relatively new 70 year old golfer watching your videos over the past few years has given me the confidence to join a senior men’s league and play in their competitions. Thanks so much.

@tedharman5354 says:

Danny, you make solutions to our struggles seem so simple. I'm going to work on this indoors over the winter and will report back in the spring.

@marcochiasson2298 says:

Once again, great instructional video! Question: does the club loft impact the target spin loft on the golf simulator (e.g. irons)? Cheers.

@stevesmith3488 says:

Great lesson. I think I have the spin loft OK (the hip move from an earlier video helped a lot), so I will work on smacking the ball more at my next practice session. One thing I know I still do is casting the club early. Have you done a video that would help with this?
