Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

Finally wilson getting some love I play some old wilson dynapower irons and they're great

@alvinpaul7460 says:

Have the Wilson D7 irons in the bag for three seasons. No thought of changing.

@robertholloway6887 says:

I have the staff model blades 5-pw and this cb iron in the 4 iron, I absolutely love them, move them left to right and right to left. My PXG’s now feel like cricket bats.

@Nippocamp says:

How pop-culture references kick in for 15 sec @9.00: Duel of the fate followed by Golum ???? Classy !!!

@shaneWARs1 says:

My mistake or the fitters was not noing my pitching wedge is 43 degrees insane i have no wedges that fill that gap and smashing balls from 135 out and hitting them 158

@ChildoftheMostHigh1 says:

At 0:48 haha Rick is in love

@patrickcollisson8819 says:

Would love to be able to put the new dynapower forged in the bag, but still unfortunately can’t afford them…

@lunarneptune4006 says:

I dont trust your opinion, because you like cobra drivers thata are complete garbage

@erflog says:

Better than the 150s?

@MrMatthew262 says:

Rick, you’ve got to review the new Dynapower Forged. I’d bet they will outperform even the T200 you raved about

@MrMatthew262 says:

I just ordered a set of these. Can’t wait to get them

@joekaczmarek341 says:

Great company, great clubs. I'd buy these over TaylorMade or Callaway in a heartbeat.

@austinmeehan3522 says:

Wilson irons have always been underrated in terms of feel, looks, and performance

@psyWAR1988 says:

I play them, Rick. Put 'em in the bag. I am off a 3 HDP now from a 5.8 start of this season. I have control of ball flights, buttery feel, consistency of landing angle and spin, predictability of distance, and, more importantly, forgiveness when I don't do my part the best—even with the long irons. You won't regret it. Seek out a SPONSORSHIP! That is what both you and Wilson needs.

@charlesbartholomew2910 says:

Shoot a few sub par rounds with them and you won't care how shiny they are. 🙂

@charlesbartholomew2910 says:

Rick, What shaft is in the clubs?

@Stephen05777 says:

That’s a massive pitching wedge, 8800 yards 12:50

@Deeznuts69000 says:

They look good. But no one will pay 1000$ for Wilson clubs.

@Rufus_McMillian says:

When you get clubs for free then you can wonder if they should be priced more. Golf equipment is way too expensive.

@samiam4240 says:

I bought these as well. I've played three rounds so far this spring. I also ordered the wedges (54* & 58*) but they're backordered until May 1st…So I hope they don't get delayed past that. Anyway, I picked up about 10 yards per club same shaft, stiffness, grip and all standard length & lie. My previous clubs were the 2014 version of these (I think) the Wilson Staff V4 FG CB's. I loved those…this newest 2024 version is lofted only 1 degree stronger compared to my old 2014 clubs. The 24 version feels softer than the 14, but it's also longer too. So, the technology is there. Loving my decision!

@michaelmiller686 says:

Finally Rick!!! Wilson is so underrated. I have the C300 forged. Amazing irons!!! Feel great with players forgiveness

@davidree2858 says:

wilson staff is massively underrated as a golf brand.

@richardweigle7909 says:

have you reviewed the Mizuno JPX23 Pro irons?

@stuartwatts3388 says:

Are you suggesting that these clubs are a Veblen good? (Economics A level here)

@greaseweeklygames says:

I really like the V6's, i wanna try these

@user-ml8so9gu9h says:

Hi Rick – great video. I was chatting with a club fitter a few weeks back. I was in a blind wedge fitting, thinking that id end up with some cool new Vokeys – tried 8 different wedges, and one in particular was just perfect. I handed it back to the fitter and was just about to hammer the amex , expecting to see Vokey on the back of the club – when it turned out be the Cleeveland RTX 6. Do you think the likes of Srixon, Cleveland and WS are simply overlooked in the UK due to advertising budgets? Is it the lack of visibility on tour? I played with a corporate free AD333 ball yesterday – it was great. I normally play WS Triad – great balls at a small amount of the cost.
