I have the original Sim max and its staying in the bag. Ive hit loads of newer drivers and none suit me better.
I had the original Sim, then the Sim 2. Quickly sold the Sim 2 and went back to the original Sim. Maybe I should’ve tried the Sim 2 Max instead. Now I’m curious. Usually when clubs get a cult following, there’s good reason. Like the Mizuno MP 32 irons, which I still have. And the Nike Vapor Pro Combo irons, which I still kick myself for selling.

I have a sim 2 with a cracked crown that I break out if I end up breaking my driver head, I use it as a back up an I’ll say some of my best golf has been when playing with the cracked sim 2 max! It’s just a fairway finder for me! I’ve seriously thought about trying to find another one!

The thing is that driver tech really hasn't changed much in 15 years. If you like a driver and it's still performing, there's absolutely no reason to buy a new one.
