????????????
Where did you get that net from?
I'd need a much wider net hah, too many off line shots when practicing new stuff.
I can’t find if you put a link to where you bought the Nats, the size and the price????????????
The batting cage would’ve been perfect lol but nice video bro
Probably didnt really need the cement honestly. But should last a good long while.
Oh yeah.. Those teens looks real excited to be doing a work task. They couldn’t wait to get started.
As for the build. Borrow a large hammer drill and ground rod attachment and drive the poles in. No digging, no cement work. If an electrician can drive a ground rod 10’ deep, you can get a conduit pipe 3’ easily. After you get your height, put in a 90° fitting on each side pole, adding a horizontal pipe between each vertical pole (adds stability). If you still want to be able to lower the net drill a hole on each side of the upright poles to string thru. Just some thoughts on less labor.
I'm going to find some builder's and have them watch this ????????????
hopefully thats enough concrete for 1 inch poles ????????????
Next time I'd of put a 90deg on the top of the poles and run a pipe across the top.
Thanks for the details on the net build. I just used you specs to build myself one in my back yard for practice. 15' wide x 20' tall. Love the content. Thanks again.
..that young lad would be far better off inside exercising his fingers playing the PlayStation, poor guy
Did you call that kid a rock?
Nice video! What do you think about the feasibility of burying some sort of sleeve in the ground to make the poles removable?
but you still have to go and get the balls. mine uses a wooden ramp. I can use ONE ball and hit it over and over without even moving my feet
I would have used a sono tube (24" X 36" ) in a hole about 5' deep. Fill the bottom of the hole with 3/4 rock for drainage, then set the tube in, plumb it up, and pour the concrete into the tube. The rock will help with drainage and the tube will make it stronger; pouring concrete in a dirt hole is not very strong.
