Swing is smoother than a con man talking an old lady out of her money!
Nobody and i mean NO ONE makes the golf swing look so easy…and it is if you do it Brian's way
This Feb I transitioned from Graves Golf Single Plane Swing to the Easiest Swing. It made sense about less tension and rotating for my 73 yr old body. It has been an unmitigated disaster. My drives are 20 to 30 yds less and I slice all over the course and hit pop ups 30 yds off the tee. My long irons are more topped than solidly hit. And the strongest of my game had been chipping and now I either chunk or skull the shot 80% of the time. All of the comments on the Videos praise their results. Are these comments for real or they written by friends and Bots?
I’m going to try and incorporate a hybrid with the best parts of less tension with the ball striking of Single Plane.
Can you show a swing like that one trackman using the easiest swing?
This is wayyyy too easy. The game was meant to be hard man.
SwingRite. Where can I order one of these. I have looked it up on internet but can't find it.
Hi I had trouble with hitting behind the ball. I got rid of that, at least for the most part. I still had tension in my body so when I softened up my hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders I started hitting a lot better. Hardly any hitting behind the ball. I started to remember back when I used to hit chip shots and putt and was good at it. No one was there to tell me how to do it. I just did it. So I started to swing like I used to for long and short game. I had to tell myself to relax and hit the ball with a relaxed and confident swing. Not trying to kill it. I would hit down the middle of fairway. I still had bad shots but would tell myself to see the best of the shot. It was in the fairway. It went straight or had good distance. Some shots were really good and I would tell myself good shot. I also started to following thru with the swing so the club would go to my front shoulder instead of going short of it. I noticed when I hit way right on a shot my follow thru didn't go to my shoulder.
I did the same swing but learned from another American pro. I acn assure every one that 100% you can bomb a drive with this swing. The faster you can turn the further it will go. It's all about learning to time the drop of the club with the turn of the body. Try to think. Arms only go up and down. No side way movement and it's the turn of the body that puts the club through the ball.
HI Brian, I'm curious if you took inspiration from Manuel de la Torre, your swings look similar… swinging the whole club back or your right shoulder, swing the whole club to the target in one action while trying to brush the grass. Simple and effective.
Every time I watch this video it brings me back to the basics . Just swing no thoughts back and through. Thanks Brian you saved my golf game.
I just seem to conquer this club. I’ve tried teeing high. Ive tried teeing low. I’ve lined up on the toe. I’ve lined up on center. I’m trying to swing slow. I was pushing it left. Now my slice has come back. I’m just so frustrated. I’m trying to do the dance. I’m not sure what I’m asking for. I emailed y’all a couple of times. I think I need a session. I just can’t seem to get the feel of this gigantic club. For the record I have a touredge hl4 13 degree 45” long driver. This is getting so disheartening
I’ve watched your videos hundreds of times and there is one question I can’t answer. Are you purposely rolling your hands over at impact or just letting the club take you through the swing?
My instructor showed me this. You just demonstrated that my rigid stance isn’t needed. Maintaining the triangle and left arm straightness can be done in a relaxed manner.
Thank you thank you thank you.
I’ve tried to implement this technique and the tempo feels good. It is also less stressful on my body. But generally speaking, it produces a weak slice. So it’s back to the drawing board for me.
I really believe that anyone and I mean anyone wishing to improve should buy Brian's book first, read it and do the dance drill whenever you get the chance, especially before you turn in at night.
I'd need to see an actual ball flight. I don't think you are hitting 250+ none of your videos have ball flight.
Hi Brian. At 66 years of age and in reasonably good health, i’m finding the easiest swing to be a fun way to play the game. As a matter of fact i’ve found that it has improved the ball flight and accuracy of my irons. Unfortunately, the opposite is true with my driver and fairway woods. I tend to top my fairway woods (off the deck) and my driver flight is very low. I am mimicking your swing with my irons and my woods. And while my iron play is strong, my woods are dismal. In your book you don’t mention a difference in swinging irons and woods (at least not that I can find) but in closely studying your videos, there does appear to be a difference. Your takeaway with the driver looks a bit lower with more arm extension and the swing plane is a bit flatter than with your irons. Also your hands appear higher at the top of your backswing with the driver. Your swing with the irons looks more compact and closer to your body. Am I seeing these differences correctly? Do you teach the swing differently between the woods and the irons? Thank you very much, Brian. I’ve read your book several times and have bought additional copies for friends looking to improve their games. You’re an inspiration.
Brian has the best swing I've ever seen.
at 0:48 he hits the ball and the tee flies about 10 / 15 inches and lands on the ground side ways then when you look at where the tee was again after swing it is standing up stuck in the ground at address position ???
I would like to know what move initiates the downswing?
Is it the shifting of your weight to your left side?
Is it more of a body swing that controls your tempo?
Thank you
I began to play golf about a year ago, I'm 58. As any beginner I followed my teacher rules, advises and recommendations. Then I had a good shot only one or two over ten, no consistency and very poor results. When I began to use a driver two or three month ago it was terrific, 120 sometimes 150 meters (120 to 165 yards), slice and hooks, etc.
Then I discovered these videos and began to practice "la danse du golf", – sounds good to me as I'm French – trying to reproduce what I was seeing.
And it changes everything for me : I hit my driver regularly at at least 180-200m (195-215yd) and straight, I'm more consistent with all my clubs, good contact and consistent distance, and I have played the par on all holes but one on my usual golf course, of course not during the same game, but making the par is so exciting.
What is the best with this to me is that, before, I tried to think to a lot (too many) of things – keep my right arm straight (I'm left handed), keep my head still, look to the ball, rotation, shift weight, etc., etc. – and now I have only one in mind : relax. And it works.
For the moment I know that my release movement is not very good, too early and not very relaxed, it affects my club speed, but I'm working on it.
May I add that after 18 holes, I feel good, no tension, no pain in the back or the knees, and very happy to have played some very good shots, may be two or three pars.
One thing that just bugged me was that I wasn't returning by hands close the the area that I had them in at address. The result was I was standing up, losing power, and my miss was a hard low hook. Could you comment?
정말 편안하게 치네요~~~~~
book is ok. I was just swinging to upright.
swing is ok if your a 20 handicapper but for us 10 handicappers it's just another book Sale
