One of my favourite golfers of all time is Ben Hogan, a true legend of the game! By the way how good is this par 5!! One of my favourites I have to say…

That initial arm position might prevent golfers elbow?

Awesomeness

Thanks you changed my game!

Alex, I have a question. If left arm is in give blood podition, it would be good if right elbow on stance is pointing towards the target or slightly right to the target. This in my opinion will facilitate inside out swing. What is your view.

@fondu321 says:

I am convinced that the dominant elblow trigger you speak of here ( right for me) is my favorite trigger and I can always fall back on it if I try other feels and they go south. Honestly I don't now why I don't just keep this feel and trigger. I guess I am on a quest to find something always better than what I got. IDK but this has been my goto and I should probably just keep it!

This information is invaluable. Iit has only taken me 20+ years to understand and to put into practice. There has not been a single face to face golf lesson that I have had where this move was explained or demonstrated to me. This right arm position really changes the way the ball is struck. If only I had grasped this many years ago. Whoever watches this video the really follow this as its such a correct move. Just look at other online instructors who demonstrate the same move. This is fundamental to a correct downswing. Thank God for online instructors such as Alex who show us exactly what we should be doing.

No doubt you are right of course, but I can't for the life of me see how the clubface would ever get back to square?!

@mikekerr6747 says:

You just explained that exceptionally good ???? definitely makes sense why I keep "coming over the top" and I can't seem to stop. Gonna try this and see if this is the key… Thanks mate ????

@stuboy13 says:

Thanks! Awesome tip. Might have totally fixed my hook and slice combo, with added power from that release!

@paulfleming1782 says:

Alex , where can I get a Golf Buddy vest like the one you were wearing ?

@davej_25 says:

Is the right hand the more dominant in the golf swing?

@sythezero says:

Should I do this with irons in the same way?

@lenardtan7169 says:

Great video tips

Your description of feeling the Right Arm losing at Arm Wrestling (during the downswing) is brilliant.
