This is why you struggle to hit it irons properly ????
1. You don't have control over the low point in your golf swing
2. Your right hand is on the grip correctly
3. Your right arm locked at set-up
4. You turn in the golf swing as apposed to pivot
What's great is if you have any one of these faults in your golf swing they are really easy to fix. So if you are looking at how to hit irons consistently this can make an instant impact on the quality of your ball striking not just with your irons but with your driver too.
For example if you want to hit your driver straight just getting the forearms aligned at address will be a real eye opener for you.

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing
Similarly I call it :'lock and load' ..where I'm locking the rt elbow and loading the torsion spring ensuring your arc is consistent..prepare to PAR EVERY HOLE
Danny, you're creating too many good golfers
Absolutely brilliant this is what I’ve just been looking for. Thanks Danny
Hi Danny
thank you very much for all the work you put in for us golfers. With your help I dropped from 17 to 13.3 this year and I am 73 years old! There is one problem keeping me from hitting lower scores (I have done even par and +1 several times): I start thinking about my swing during the play and how to make it correct that destroyes my game. Do you have any tip for me or can you do a video on this, as I am sure that problem occures often.
Danny, locking the trail arm like u said is good but makes the back swing short for me so I loose 1 club distance. What to do?
Great stuff! Assuming this doesn’t apply for driver?
Your the best
This is great advice Danny thank you ????
Thanks Danny. Seems so simple but I was never really sure how exactly I should be addressing the ball. Invaluable info on that, and the downswing. Keep up the great work Danny. Much appreciated???? best Lawrence
Love it, your explanations are so good. As a high handicapper myself who struggles to strike my irons, I'm gonna take this lesson to the course today. Wish me luck! ????
Great video as usual, however I have one question. Do you lock the wrist at setup or or when you bring the club back in the backswing?
Hi Danny you hit the nail on the head, frustrating, I love the way you explain the technique to the shots , I will be practicing this over the next few weeks ????
Can't wait to try this out, you have created something so simple in theory, I honestly think any handicap golfer could follow this technique. I don't take divots but strike the ball ok, I am looking for more compression though. The real key is this right arm position, actually quite excited to get to the range. It looks like something that can be repeatable without myriad swing thoughts, my nemesis. Thank you
Thanks for the great advice!
Excellent lesson
