Hi Mark, awesome video love the ground forces moment and shifting, reminds me of a drill i watched with your good friends
shaun and mike at AMG, to shift your weight in the swing your only have to lift the opposite foot off the ground without moving. pros only seems to turn in the back swing then shift forward in transition, and they are great at doing a version of this without
moving all over the place

I struggle mightily of the tee, this video is much needed and appreciated. I've also tried to get a slow steady tempo to fix my slice, to no avail. If I do as you say and take the club away a bit quicker, should I feel the club load at the top? I guess the question is: What triggers the downswing? I'm not pushing back, but asking for the feel to go along with the data.

@michaelreilly5888 says:

Excellent lesson Mark! Love the "brakes" concept.

Watched you for years Mark, and this is up there with your best!

Awesome Video Mark… Thanks You

My swing thought is speed after strike "! But I know that is not what is happening in real time. It helps me to use my speed through impact rather than before impact.

@derekjenkinson5406 says:

Im 6"4 and I tee it very high for high launch low spin drives! My standard flight is straight to a slight fade draw depending on strike. My swing speed is around 100/105 but it's a fun flight for me. Im good enough to hit it lower also. I love building my armory. Same with irons! Shot shaping and imagination is what I love about golf! But my scores can vary but I don't care, ill never change trying to play the perfect shot for a certain shot! It's what keeps me entertained playing.

@r0bharri50n says:

Love it, but think I might have a bit of a meltdown at the range as I try and build all of them into one swing ????

@georgejung5429 says:

Very good. ????

@SigmaJAD says:

Excellent stuff to practice. Thx Mark

@healthygolfer says:

I see that you’re no longer using Golf Pride Align grips.

@pbode1 says:

If only for the simple eye opener for me (being 6f 6) that my driver toe is fine not standing up that much I liked this video Mark.
The trail ball of the foot screwing into the ground you've shown before, and I have engrained that already with success (on irons too), can recommend that to anyone. I even like to pull up my toes to stay very aware of the ball of my foot.
Love tip 5. the feel for me is indeed that you think you're keeping your head back, but in slo mo your shoulder center stays in place, and it's just the lower body moving forward forcing some healthy side bend. Took me a while to figure that out. My biggest challenge now is to consciously bring in timely ground force. I do push up, but far too late in the sequence, courtesy of years of being too 'handsy and armsy'.

@TimChump says:

I gain 5mph club head speed with driver using a quick takeaway ????

@MissAmberlee1 says:

Your tips are gold Mark, thank you !

@sirtogii5216 says:

Wait, you're saying your measured facts are superior to Joe Bloggs feelings?!? Outrageous! Will be taking that trail hand palm push drill to the range tomorrow since my name is not Joe…

@laenreklaw says:

ok….. once I get the brain moving forward, the rest of this will fall in line. Great video
