Are New Drivers ALWAYS Better?

I test every driver I've played from 2017 to 2024 to see if newer is always better!

  1. My experience is NO! I got fitted for a Taylormade Qi10 to replace my Stealth. Terrible result: my dispersion is tighter and I’m longer with theStealth.

The Qi10 is in my office…the Stealth remains in my bag.

    Good video, Gabe!

  2. Very interesting!

Dispersion can also be attributed to gains in graphite shaft improvements, too! Ventus anyone!?

I would look at lowering the
loft on the TSR3 since it looks like its launching much higher than the rest of the pack.

Why not look at a ball change too.

A little disappointed in the Ping 10k the Anser to All of Man kinds dilemmas . ????

Im Waiting for the ball change and a 425 cc driver max change!!

  3. Very good video and seems like an upgrade every 3 driver cycles or so makes the most sense unless you have the money and just want something shiny. Still wish I could afford a TSR3 over anything out currently

  4. I could not justify spending that much on a driver and not see a more significant gain. Thanks for showing this tho! Seems like more golf content creators are getting into this space to give normal people info on old and new drivers. To me it seems like if you can get a good 2 nd hand driver that fits you and save your self 400+ dollars. That’s the move for most people.

  5. There is no way drivers improve very much if at all over a year. It’s all a scam and we are the marks. I driver should easily stay current over a five year period.

  6. Still using R9 taylor made, just change shaft. This is my driver for park stule courses.
On link courses, use Titliest D915 as it disperses more but goes 10m further

  7. "A lot of balls perform better off toe". Thats because GCs calcs overestimate the extra yards you get from having the spin come off. Those wouldnt perform better on any other launch monitor and definitely not better on course.

  8. With USGA limits on clubhead specs, it's hard to grab more distance with anything–clubs or balls. But forgiveness/accuracy? There's still room. But still, it all comes down to proper fitting!
