I’ve been using GOLFTEC for about a year and have generally been very happy with it, for many of the reasons you outlined. But the one thing I’ve been unhappy with is the Skytrak system. They were using GC2’s when I started and the Skytrak monitors seem to suffer from a lot of missed shots and bizarre outputs, like I can see where the ball hit the screen and it shows the ball going a completely different direction. Not confidence inspiring. The software is great but the Skytrak needs some work. At least at the place I go, they’re using a GC Quad in the bay they use for fittings.

This concept is great and it looks lovely. However, I did some digging into the GolfTec lesson prices and they are pretty darn expensive. I just don't have a couple grand to spend so I'll have to stick to local driving range lessons.
Love where golf has been heading, it’s grain a lot of traction. For myself as a Canadian this type of golf experience, can really change my game to keep checked in during the cold season. Would love to add it to my build out in the garage. Thanks you for this and all the information presented here.

I am looking to get a Launch monitor and Skytrak is definitely on my list of possibles. But having seen this video and looking at all the possibilities of what you can do and what is likely to come in the future, this is becoming my favourite to get. The insights given through the video has proved invaluable in explaining the how you can use the launch monitor, golf and games and instruction all together. Great .

Excellent report Mark! I live near a GolfTech location in San Diego, CA USA. They are an excellent operator.
problem with GolfTec is they are in the business of selling lesson packages, I have found that when I was taking lessons with GolfTec was that there wasn't as much attention spent on a holistic look at your game/swing it was like the computer says this and you need to keep working on this one thing. Oh and by the way buy another lesson package so we can keep working on this one thing that is out of range. That isnt to say that i did not improve, I did quite a bit at first, it just got to a point where things started to plateau and I felt like it started to feel like they were ok with that and just wanted to milk $$$. YMMV though I'm sure depending on the franchise you go to your experience could be quite different.
