This Golf Balance Drill is a great all around drill that focuses on helping you learn where your masses are and how they move as you swing. We discover where the points of pressure are around our feet as we go through the up swing and follow into the downswing. We break everything into quadrants that are assigned to the upswing and down swing. See how the pressure points change as you rotate assisting in the upward motion and change again for the downswing momentum. This drill also helps with controlling your back and forth motion as well as the side to side motion to really help you contain stable balance as you swing.

I look forward to working with you much more in the future with Top Speed Golf. Good luck with your golf.

Shot a 76 today. I owe it all to this drill. I took lesson dec 5, 2020 from a guy who played in 15 majors and made 260 plus pga cuts. I was really messed up and could not hit a ball. I watched this video, bought the dowel for 2 dollars at Loews and boom. 76

Practicing swing basics can free the mind

A help video, thank you. I’m curious to know if you think that where the weight/pressure needs to go is shot-dependent? It seems to me that getting the weight to the right heel at the top of the backswing promotes a move towards the ball/toes of the left foot thereby promoting an in to out path. It is easier to move the weight to the left heel if it does not ever get to the right heel on the backswing i.e. fade-bias?

Do you have any videos on good drills to practice to get a good in out swing to correct over the top swings with driver and irons?

Armin Beck says:

It's absolutely contrary to 1.30 h back and 10.30 h weight ship

Thanks for taking the time to use a tool and diagrams. Literally been working on this feeling since Saturday and yesterday hitting balls I finally was able to swing with pressure it quad #4 in the diagram. That made my hips clear, balance, and turn fully… Thanks again!!!
