GOLF: [Video:2 of 2] Two KEYS To Avoid Hitting Behind The Ball (With Scratch Golf Academy)
What an awesome day with Adam Bazalgette at the Mediterra Club in Naples, Florida!
Check out Scratch Golf Academy (if you don't already) for some awesome videos from Adam and for the second half of this video series! https://youtu.be/jcq_yUvG0Kc

While in Florida, we teamed with Adam Bazalgette, host of the popular Scratch Golf Academy YouTube Channel, for a series of videos. Adam has been the SW Florida PGA teach of the year twice, is a 27 year Class A PGA Member, was the director of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy for 13 years, and has taught numerous players that have competed on PGA, LPGA, PGA Champions Tour, and Canadian Tour. Adam has also appeared on the Golf Channel numerous times. Be sure to check out Adam's Scratch Golf Academy YouTube channel and his website at https://scratchgolfacademy.com.
For this video, Adam and I are spreading the knowledge across BOTH of our channels. In this video, Adam and I will take you through one of the keys you can use - namely focusing on your trail arm and wrist - to stop hitting behind the ball.

I love your videos but it is frustrating watching 2 1/2 – 3 mins worth of promotions.
This is just what I’ve needed. I’ve been hitting everything fat, driver irons all my clubs from time to time. It’s the one fault I’ve struggled with. This should fix this problem for me. Thanks for this video. On hitting fat I’ve not seen any videos addressing this aspect of the swing. Thanks again ?
For the early release guys what's the best shaft for them.
Even with lessons, I find myself learning from the both of you. Thanks for the video! Couldn't have come at a better time.
How best to avoid swaying to lead side when propelling the club past the ball. Also when are you releasing the wrist angle into the ground or are you not doing so. thanks
How big a role does right side bend play in being able to keep right elbow and wrist bent thru impact.
Great video watch you and Adam instructions all the time. The Live View Golf camera is a bit much for me. Don’t mean to be negative some folks will like it but for me I can do the same thing with my smart phone connected to the TV. Keep up the good work guys like the combined instruction.
Thanks for teaming up. A great lesson.
Very glad you’re not some dude hating on other channels. Mad respect! Great videos
Great lesson. Consciously thinking about keeping that right wrist bent through contact has worked wonders.
I’ve been working on this issue the last couple of weeks, I’ll try out these tips and see if they help.
This is refreshing instruction that aims to assist golfers to simply have more success and therefore more fun playing golf. Isn't that what we all want?
Two brilliant instructors with these two videos. Thank you for posting. I am actually struggling with this and I’ll be working on this at the range today.
This is a great video and great collaboration! However I can’t find the other video you guys did on Scratch Golf Academy’s channel. Help?
Great to see my two favorite YouTube golf instructors together!
Just what I was looking for, thanks gentlemen ???️♂️⛳
Can you do a video on how to hit a draw or fade
"you're not doing enough learning". Adam is one of my favs. no nonsense approach and a beautiful player
thx Eric?
You and Adam together! Great… ??
lovely content
