Hey Rick that's not actually what it's for. We have those at my golf course and we use them to remove 100's of extra plugged balls in our driving range that are too deep into the ground for the machine to pick up in the rainy winter months. Saves us from bending over all day long. Try it next time you plug one and don't want to dig it out with your fingers.

Stick the fork in UNDER the divot and do a slow pry up. It’s meant for older people, so I feel as if that’s the “technique” that would be used. Would make the repair quick

He’s needs to turn it 180 so it angles the other way. Yes, it is for old people and yes I can’t bend over . The one I have has a ball pick up cup on the other too .
