Peter Senior retires from golf mid-round at the Emirates Australian Open

Peter Senior's wonderful golfing career is over.

The 57-year-old two-time Australian Open champion withdrew from the 2016 championship after five holes of his second round today, and immediately declared he was finished with the game.

Peter Senior was the reason i started using a broomstick putter when i was 15. He was a renowned ball striker and could handle tough conditions. He won the Australian PGA, Open and Masters in his 50's. A legend of the game!
