  1. I just saw this. I hope you read my comment, Liam. Your family is most important. Your kids grow up very fast, so be there for them. The show can go on. How about you review the final tape and dub in your commentary!!!! It's what you say that makes the show what it is. I think this would work. You can caddie and then add your commentary in the evening. Just a thought. Will always respect your decision!!!

  9. Absolutely the right decision. My kids are all grown up but I have a 7 year old granddaughter who is the light of my life. I started this year in a coma due to Covid and came perilously close to death so being with my wife, kids and granddaughter is just so precious. I am now back to playing golf again. I found your golf channel during my recovery and am going back through the old content so that is why I'm late to the party. I absolutely love the channel and all the characters. It must be hard work but so rewarding. Keep up the good work.

  14. Good man. Early on in the video I was thinking the decision was a no-brainer (to caddy) but love how you’ve weighed up your responsibilities – especially fatherhood – and take that so seriously. Well done!

  15. Difficult with a young family. Can never get that time back. Also very risky finance wise if Daniel had a slump. I used to caddie for a good amateur and loved it. Very difficult decision.

  19. Do it for a year. Life is about opportunities, experiences, and being brave. Remember he is only going to be playing almost 20 times a year. You will still have 30 weeks with the family and they can also fly and join you too.

  21. You’ve made the right choice mate the channel is an amazing thing you have done but more importantly family is everything and you can never get that time back with your beautiful daughters. So we’ll done very hard decision but am a father myself and I will never be away from him. ????
