The golf driver you WON'T try….BUT SHOULD!

In this video PGA Golf Professional Rick Shiels heads out to the golf course to test a driver that most golfers wouldn't think to try.

When you look in the golf bags of most amateur golfers and golfers on The PGA Tour & The European Tour you will the same thing. Callaway Golf Drivers, TaylorMade Golf Drivers, Ping Golf Drivers, Titleist Golf Drivers & Cobra Golf Drivers. This driver is different, this driver is from Cleveland Golf & in this video you will hear why Rick Shiels thinks you should try it. Rick tests the new Cleveland Launcher HB Turbo driver and it really impressed him!

Hi I'm Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

  1. In the seventies, I wouldn't play anything except my Wilson Staff clubs, top flite ball… gradually moved to a custom set of cavity back(similar to 845's) with stiff carbon shaft's… TaylorMade metal woods…oh and precept ball… Today, at 60, I have had so many club's handed to me to try….but I put together a complete set of Cleveland clubs…with Bridgestone ball… Still hit fairly long, mostly straight… Cleveland doesn't spend a ton on marketing….they instead spend on r&d…now, if their grips were a little better… ?

  2. Hi there i would like to say love you content and that cleveland driver is a monster i have the 3 wood to maby you must make one about the driver 3 and 5 wood would recommend it love youre content

  3. I bought one of these. The first "higher end" driver I've ever purchased. LOVE IT. since then I've compared it to the Cobra Rad speed and the M6. I keep coming back to my Launcher Turbo. underrated club in my opinion. I just picked up a set of HB Turbo irons and look forward to seeing how they play as well.. enjoy the videos!

  4. Great review Rick. I was due for some new clubs after nearly 2 decades playing the same set. As an average golfer still dialing in my game, adjustability doesn't really benefit my game enough to justify the added cost. I demo'd several drivers and found this one to be my favorite. It had a confidence inspiring look behind the ball and a sharp tough appearance. I hit the ball as far or farther then the other big name companies, and was plating a nice tight draw with great forgiveness. In the end I walked away with this driver in a 9 degree stiff flex and couldn't be happier. The sound is my only complaint. I too wish if was a bit less high pitched. For half the price of the others I can tolerate the sound 9 or so times a round.

  5. Played Cleveland irons and wedges for years, so tried my friends Turbo Launcher on the last hole and clobbered it. Now have the driver and fairway in the bag. Like the sound.

  6. Was Really loving the way I hit this club, but after only 2 rounds of golf and 1 trip to the driving range, the head broke off of the shaft on a clean ball strike. Really poor quality shaft, which wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't glued. Buyer Beware.
