Do this golf tip for 1 minute to get the best golf ball striking of your life. It doesn’t get any easier or better than this. This really simple golf tip is the key to an easy golf swing that hits the ball high, far, and straight. I created this super easy drill to help you feel a powerful and consistent golf swing that gets you to feel buttery, crispy contact on the club face.

There’s too many golf swing benefits to list here. This drill fixes almost every golf swing problem you can think of, and it works for golfers of all ages and skill levels. I am Tom Saguto, PGA Member and founder of SagutoGolf. Thank you for visiting my instructional page where you can find how to get on the fast track to improving your golfing abilities. Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.

My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.

My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.

  1. Great stuff Tom, for me the hardest thing to do is keeping the wrist silent cocking an uncocking sometimes I hit fat shots an sometimes perfect. hitting my nine iron 140 yds sometimes 120 yds I think i have to keep the wrist silent.

  2. Tom. I took this to the range today, and amazing results. I’ve never hit the ball so consistently, or as far. I’ve always felt the the swing starts at the shoulders and the hips follow, not the other way around. This is so simple. Thank you.

  3. Tom, you are legit my favorite golf instructor on youtube. i’ve watched dozens of different dudes teaching my how to swing, and i keep coming back to your videos.

Once i break 90, i’m subscribing to your website because you have changed my golf game!

Thanks dude! You’re a funny dude and great teacher! I’m hoping to break 100 for the first time this sunday (yes i’m terrible but i just started this year)

    Cheers!

  4. Thank you for your great videos, Tom. You've really helped me love Golf again and I had to write and tell you.

The Clear, Simplicity of Your Instruction Can't Be Beat. I'm 6 Minutes into half these other Golf Instructor's Videos and they're Still Giving Me Their Resume'. Too Much Talking and Little Conceptualization.

Through watching your YouTube Videos, I've relearned: How to grip the club, maintain my balance, add my hips into the swing, strike the ball, etc. K.I.S.S. Concepts. You've helped me immeasurably. Simplicity Perfected. Clear Concepts. Minimal Visualizations. Audible Ideas: "Crispy" – "Buttery Smooth" – "Shoulders Rotate in a Circle…not sliding back, or sliding forward" – "No Chopping at the Ball" – "Whip of Speed Through The Ball" – "That Feels Great!"

Painting with a Broad Brush, is what you're doing…and it's simply perfect. You're the video embodiment of Harvey Penick's Little Red Book…(one of the best, btw)…and I highly recommend your videos to everyone.

Keep up the great work! I'm subscribing, too.

  5. It's that old saying that "you don't hit the ball at the bottom of the swing" the divot is the bottom of the swing. Not sure if it's a mind game but I'm obviously scared of taking a divot as I hit the ball in the middle or top it and try as i may with straight arms and head still hips forward weight on the leading leg… all the pointers I must cringe or something but vary rarely do I take a divot.

  6. Appreciate the way you simplify things so there isn't so much to think about during the swing……def trying this out tonight at the range! But all your terminology makes me hungry….Crispy, Buttery….lol! Liked and subbed!

  7. Tom. Great explanation of how the shoulders and hips work. I always felt I was stuck and now I know why I was moving my hips too soon. Others probably have attempted however your explanation really changed how I think about the swing and can see how you can generate a lot of power instead of over swinging and not compressing the ball

    Thanks
