Do this golf tip for 1 minute to get the best golf ball striking of your life. It doesn’t get any easier or better than this. This really simple golf tip is the key to an easy golf swing that hits the ball high, far, and straight. I created this super easy drill to help you feel a powerful and consistent golf swing that gets you to feel buttery, crispy contact on the club face.

There’s too many golf swing benefits to list here. This drill fixes almost every golf swing problem you can think of, and it works for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Just the other day a 75 year old golfer did this in a golf lesson and immediately experienced hitting the ball 20 yards farther and much straighter while swinging the golf club nice and easy. So this is also a key to having an easy, body-friendly golf swing.

By doing this simple golf tip and feel for just 1 minute a day, you are going to see huge benefits to your golf swing and ball striking.

I am Tom Saguto, PGA Member and founder of SagutoGolf. Thank you for visiting my instructional page where you can find how to get on the fast track to improving your golfing abilities. Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.

My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.

My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.

Great stuff Tom, for me the hardest thing to do is keeping the wrist silent cocking an uncocking sometimes I hit fat shots an sometimes perfect. hitting my nine iron 140 yds sometimes 120 yds I think i have to keep the wrist silent.

TheSteelerider says:

Tom. I took this to the range today, and amazing results. I’ve never hit the ball so consistently, or as far. I’ve always felt the the swing starts at the shoulders and the hips follow, not the other way around. This is so simple. Thank you.

Khaizal Ozlen says:

Hi @SagutoGolf, should the divot be closer to the ball or further ahead?

ricky stevens says:

tom do you focus on looking at a certain part of the ball or the grass on the bottom of the ball ? thank you

ricky stevens says:

awesome teach i love one swing thought crispy bacon strip 🙂

Stevie Champagne says:

Pure GOLD. Wish I had discovered this 40 years ago. Wasted sooo much $$$ and time on BS lessons.

GolfNaples says:

This is GOLD, thanks so much!

john Fitz-gerald says:

I love how you simplified the swing. I have way to many thoughts when I swing. This is helping me a ton. Thanks

atitud Langgam says:

Tom, should we keep our arms passive?

ELByrdman says:

If I was smart. I would just delete all of my other saved golf videos and do this over and over again. Thanks Tom!

Wade Ray says:

I'm shut down on the weekends because of price and right away cause fall and winter so know golf for 6 or more months

Christopher McDowell says:

Thank you for your great videos, Tom. You've really helped me love Golf again and I had to write and tell you.

The Clear, Simplicity of Your Instruction Can't Be Beat. I'm 6 Minutes into half these other Golf Instructor's Videos and they're Still Giving Me Their Resume'. Too Much Talking and Little Conceptualization.

Through watching your YouTube Videos, I've relearned: How to grip the club, maintain my balance, add my hips into the swing, strike the ball, etc. K.I.S.S. Concepts. You've helped me immeasurably. Simplicity Perfected. Clear Concepts. Minimal Visualizations. Audible Ideas: "Crispy" – "Buttery Smooth" – "Shoulders Rotate in a Circle…not sliding back, or sliding forward" – "No Chopping at the Ball" – "Whip of Speed Through The Ball" – "That Feels Great!"

Painting with a Broad Brush, is what you're doing…and it's simply perfect. You're the video embodiment of Harvey Penick's Little Red Book…(one of the best, btw)…and I highly recommend your videos to everyone.

Keep up the great work! I'm subscribing, too.

— Chris

Eddie Gibson says:

What about wrist hinge is that automatic? Great video!

Matt Jordan says:

Are you pushing into the ground early in the backswing? Then coming up?

Nicholas Meola says:

would this drill apply to a driver swing as well?

Paul Hitchman says:

It's that old saying that "you don't hit the ball at the bottom of the swing" the divot is the bottom of the swing. Not sure if it's a mind game but I'm obviously scared of taking a divot as I hit the ball in the middle or top it and try as i may with straight arms and head still hips forward weight on the leading leg… all the pointers I must cringe or something but vary rarely do I take a divot.

stanmans says:

The guy behind you is doing everything you shouldn’t be doing.

fernando arin says:

The best !!!

RISING PHOENIX says:

Appreciate the way you simplify things so there isn't so much to think about during the swing……def trying this out tonight at the range! But all your terminology makes me hungry….Crispy, Buttery….lol! Liked and subbed!

haumei05 says:

👍👍👍⛳🏌️👍👍👍

Mike Thomas says:

Tom. Great explanation of how the shoulders and hips work. I always felt I was stuck and now I know why I was moving my hips too soon. Others probably have attempted however your explanation really changed how I think about the swing and can see how you can generate a lot of power instead of over swinging and not compressing the ball

Thanks
Mike
